A cross sectional method was applied in this study design. A total of 240 feces from 240 beef cattle were collected during dry season (July to August 2020). Observation of worms in the feces was conducted using the McMaster method. In addition, the sedimentation method was used to identify worms from the Trematode class. Data were analysed descriptively and statistically using chi-square method. The results showed that the prevalence of helminthiasis during dry season reached 20 %, with the most prevalence eggs type belongs to Strongyle spp. (14.5 %), Fasciola sp. (3.3 %), Trichostrongylus sp. (1.25 %), Strongyloides sp. (0.8 %), and Paramphistomum sp. (0.8 %). The degree of infection observed from the average number of worm eggs, was mild. Average geometric number of worm eggs per gram of f...

Its also evaluated by using the length-weight relationships (LWR) and Fulton’s condition factor (K–value). A total of 7 996 specimens with length intervals of 3.5 mm to 17 mm and weight intervals of 0.013 g to 0.636 g were collected from nine sites in Permisan Bay. Based on the length-weight relationships (LWR), equations in ST–1 (0.000886870 L2.17379); ST–2 (0.000884219 L2.15471); ST–3 (0.000832626 L2.18971); ST–4 (0.000746758 L2.21150); ST–5 (0.000687148 L2.28593); ST–6 (0.000765876 L2.23830); ST–7 (0.000657461 L2.31064); ST–8 (0.000379673 L2.52229); and ST–9 (0.000799816 L 2.22922) were obtained. Regarding the b–value, almost all sites showed b < 3, and thus the growth pattern could be categorized as negative allometric. Condition factor (K-value) in all nine sites ranged between 1.1101 to 1.155...

The milk production is less but can improve by upgrading with other breeds like Saanen goat. The selection program is an effective way to upgrade the genetic performance of Ettawa goat. The Estimated Breeding Value (EBV) and Most Probable Producing Ability (MPPA) can be considered on the selection program. The purpose of this study was to determine the milk production different and the EBV and MPPA values of Ettawa goats. This research was carried out by survey method on goat farmers. The second lactation of milk production was stated as the data variable. The analysis of variance from nested design showed that any significant different (P < 0.05) in milk production between the district and very significantly different (P < 0.01) between sub-districts of Malang region. The highest EBV was 0.389 L from Bumiaji sub-district as well as the highest MPPA was 0.595 L from B...

Analysis variation of microsatellites marker in Bali cattle were determinate from PCR products by using 7 primer pairs that flanking microsatellites (INRA008, INRA057, INRA062, INRA124, INRA126, DYS 199, and INRA 189). PCR products were separated by 10% polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE), and silver staining method was used to detect allele polymorphism at each locus. From two different geographical breed origin showed that Bali cattle from Bali island has higher heterozygous (h=0.33) level than Lombok island (h=0.30), but the number of allele was few (only two alleles) in all of locus. It is indicated that Bali cattle from two geographical origins were not significant in genetic variation. We know that Y chromosomal microsatellite in general has tend to specific allele in breed comparing to autosomal chromosome, because allele come from only male or Y sex chromo...

Many tasks are usually completed or monitored via a computer screen, nowadays can be taken anywhere with Android phones or tablets. Likewise with features in the phone is increasingly sophisticated. Currently bluetooth version 4 is almost mandatory in all phones. Even for entry level phones are now equipped with bluetooth version 4. This paper discusses the use of Bluetooth Low Energy—which is part of bluetooth version 4, in providing information about the status of plant growth chamber conditions. By using this concept, all phones or tablets that have bluetooth version 4 and there are applications in it will be able to receive the latest chamber status. The results show that this way of broadcasting is very effective. The data required to be monitored by a laboratory technician can be continuously broadcasted so that anyone on duty will get instant information at his grasp.
