Academic literacies constitute reading, writing, speaking, critical thinking, use of technology, and certain habits that foster thinking process, and should be introduced before college entry. This paper examines postgraduate students' academic literacy practices at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa). The practices include reading, writing, critical habits of mind, and the use of technology in learning process. The data were collected through questionnaires given to 33 postgraduate students of TEFL programme. Interviews regarding academic literacy practices were also conducted with 6 students. The results of the study suggest that students' academic literacies are still unsatisfactory, especially in terms of academic reading comprehension ability, academic writing competence, and critical habits of mind. Similarly, students also perceive that their academic literacy practices have not met the expectations set by their lecturers. These findings give an implication that assistance in academic skills should be provided to promote academic literacy competence in postgraduate programme.

The agreement then requires collaboration and cooperation in designing a qualification standard for university graduates. In regards to a qualification framework, in 2012 Indonesia has officially launched the Indonesia qualification framework (IQF), the minimum standard for every type and level of education. Mutual recognition allows ASEAN universities recognition towards their graduates, joint degree/double degree collaborations etc. Therefore, programs such as students and faculty members exchange, joint research, joint publications etc become the patterns of scopes of cooperation in mutual recognition. However, there is an urgency to develop mutual recognition through designing qualification standards for courses, university graduates, faculty members, and staff as well as a national qualification standard based on professionalism. Eventually, the form of mutual recognition among ASEAN universities requires a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) showing strong ties among them. The MoU is written by listing the universities that are willing to participate in this collaboration framework. Once ASEAN mutual recognition is successfully implemented, the opportunity to explore the similar collaboration in Asia as well as the global arena is widely open.

Autistic children's speech is unique when it is compared with normal children's speech. Sometimes the speech of autistic children makes the adult think critically to understand the meaning of the speech. Their phonological abilities are very limited to be understood by others. It is also influenced by the intonation that accompanies the speech. The contour intonation is depicted at the end of the sound or utterance decreased. Contour intonation which is up and down can be a misinterpretation to understand the meaning of speech of autistic children. Transfiguration of up and down contour intonation may differ even if the meaning of the sentence is the same. This is because autistic children speak with different word choices and sentence structures. They speak naturally and spontaneously, so sometimes they babble at will. The methods used in the data collection are observation and interview. The data is collected by recording autistic children's speech. The data of this research is Indonesian declarative sentences. The data analysis used in the study is qualitative descriptive.
