On studying the mistakes in location of the Temple of Peace, it appeared evident that the misunderstandings, other than the Basilica, were tightly linked with the misconceptions relating to the adjacent Temple of Romulus, as well as the nearby Temple of Venus and Rome. Thus these monuments must be considered as a whole, in order to reconstruct their identification history.
