The article presents the results of actual problems of anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine (ATO) veterans research. The survey was conducted in April - May 2016 by faculty of Sociology at Taras Shevchenko national university of Kyiv, on the initiative of the War Veterans and ATO members Foundation. In this study special attention was paid to the issues of health, employment, social and legal support of the veterans: the level of their knowledge and experience of using government programs and benefits in particular. The main problems that ATO veterans have are: financial difficulties, lack of homes, violation of their rights for social security, poor government policies, problems with their health and bureaucracy of government agencies at benefits registration. The veterans’ employment was also characterized. The objective and subjective factors that influence the employment of veterans after returning from the combat zone and the reasons of their unemployment were identified. Comprehensive study of ATO veterans’ social adaptation, their social and psychological well-being, an impact of their participation in the ATO on themselves and society - can be the ways of future research

In current research we investigate the problem of combining employment and education of Ukrainian students. In the text submitted an analysis of the motives of the decision to employment, employment characteristics of students and the factors that influence the character of student’s work. The factors related to labor-time students, which may affect the quality of education. We have investigated that most of employment students work in Ukrainian private companies as unofficial mostly permanent workers, have career opportunities.
The students who combine study with full time education, closely linked to the type of settlement, which took the life before the education (for people from the villages are more typical are formal employment, work in the Ukrainian state-owned companies, as well as their work less than people from the cities associated with future specialty.

Стаття присвячена дослідженню проблеми суміщення трудової зайнятості та навчання на стаціонарі українських студентів. В тексті подаються результати аналізу мотивів прийняття рішення про працевлаштування, особливості трудової зайнятості студентів, а також проводиться аналіз чинників, що впливають на характер роботи студентів. Розглядаються чинники, пов'язані із трудовою зайнятістю студентів, які можуть вплинути на якість навчання.
