    This study aims to find out whether the collaborative strategic reading can significantly improve the students` reading comprehension achievement and what the students` perceptions on the use of collaborative strategic reading in EFL reading classroom are. The result showed that collaborative strategic reading can significantly improve the students reading achievement. The paired sample test showed the comparison of pretest and posttest score displayed the difference between scores. The mean difference was 15.000 and the value of t-obtained was 7.301. It was identified that sig.     The objectives of the research were to found out the kinds of teacher talk that used by English teacher during the classroom interaction and to know the students’ perception about teacher talk in classroom. The population of this research was 162 students of seventh grade students. The researcher only took 32 students as the sample by applying purposive sampling. The data were collected through observation and questionnaire. Then the researcher used descriptive method for analyzing the data. The result of this research showed that the teacher used all kinds of teacher talk while giving questions and feedback. In giving questions, teacher used procedural questions (23%), display questions (70%), and referential questions (7%). In giving feedbacks, the teacher used informing (38%), prompting (23%), encouragement (8%), criticizing (23%), ignoring (8%) as the feedbacks for incorrect answer.     The aimed of this study at investigating how the use of video clips could improve students’ speaking skills of the class VIII D students of SMP NEGERI 1 Madang Suku III OKU TIMUR. This research was categorized into action research and implemented 2 cycles based on the class schedule. The researcher collaborated with the English teacher in this research. The sample of the study was 26 students of class VIII.D. The qualitative data are obtained through observation, interview, and documentation related to the teaching and learning process of speaking in the classroom including the techniques used by the teacher, the learning media and the classroom speaking activities. The findings showed that the use of video clip as the teaching media combined with the use of speaking activities and classroom English was proven to be effective to improve the students’ speaking skills.     This present study was quasi experiment research. This study aimed to find out whether or not there is any the improvement of the students’ reading comprehension by using buzz group technique. The population of the study was all the eighth grade students of SMP SENTOSA BAKTI BATURAJA in Academic Year 2019/ 2020. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling. The sample is divided by two experimental class and control group. The try-out was done at VIII. C with 22 respondents. The data was collected by using test. The reliability of the data was taken through Alpha Cronbach. The data were analyzed by using paired T-test of control class and paired t-test of experimental class and independent t-test too.     This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of a hot seating strategy to improve the students' speaking skills at SMP NEGERI 3 Madang Suku III OKU TIMUR. This research adopted a pre-experimental research design. The subject of this research was the first students' of SMP NEGERI 3 Madang Suku III OKU TIMUR which consisted of 31 students with 12 boys and 19 girls. Pre-test and post-test were done to collect the data. The instrument of the test was the oral speaking test. A paired sample t-test was used to compare the data from pre-test and post-test. The finding showed that the Mean score of the pre-test was 46.63 and the mean score of the post-test was 53.27. The value of t-obtained = 2.653 was more than t-table = 2.024 with df = 30 and the value of sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 less than significance level (α = 0.05).).
