The Desert Highlands is a zone in the northern part of the Crystal Desert, although it is part of the desert, this area is more prosperous since it has more vegetation, so a tribe of ogres have settled in the northern part.

This zone contains the Palace of Aban which is guarded by the djinn, the Tomb of the Primeval Kings where the Primeval Kings are buried, and what was previously Glint's Lair, before the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik defeated her in Prophet's Fall.

Getting there[edit]

The Desert Highlands can be reached by using the Diviner's Gate, located to the north of Crystal Oasis. Following the road leading from Elona Reach to the Diviner's Passage leads to the gate. The gate is used during The Sacrifice story step, but it can be used to enter the map prior to starting the story.
