T he Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) uses a special detection method to verify activities for the member states of the organization. One of the systems based on these methods, is sampling system of airborne radioactive particles. The radionuclide monitoring is the only technique that provides the forensic or confirmatory evidence that a detected explosion is nuclear in nature. The radionuclide station including air sampler and detection unit, was designed to achieve a detection capability of not less than 90% within approximately 14 days for a 1 kt nuclear explosion in the atmosphere or from venting by an underground or underwater detonation. In this paper, SNOW WHITE ® sampler has been investigated and some technical objections to this type of sampling system have been introduced. Finally, a sampling system that can resolve related technical problems (bugs), have been simulated and some suggestions to using at the treaty have been proposed.

A number of linguistic studies on compounding have acknowledged that due to the existence of head element, endocentric compounds are semantically compositional and transparent. The current study aims to focus on the semantic aspect of Persian endocentric compounds to show that: 1) in some cases, the existence of head element does not entail the semantic compositionality and simplicity of conceptual structure in endocentric compounds, and 2) compound words which are categorized as endocentric compounds differ in terms of the complexity of conceptual structure. Considering that the ability of Conceptual Blending Theory (Fauconnier & Turner, 2002) to describe meaning construction in compound words has been previously approved by some cognitive linguists, this theory has been applied to analyze meaning construction in a number of Persian endocentric noun-noun nominal compounds. در این مقاله یک روش نهان نگاری جدید و کارآمد به منظور تعبیه¬ اطلاعات محرمانه در یک تصویر پوشانه سطح خاکستری مبتنی بر تفاضل مقادیر پیکسل¬های جهت¬دار ارائه شده است. در روش پیشنهادی جهت نهان¬ نگاری داده¬ها، تصویر پوشانه به بلوک-های 3×3 تقسیم بندی می¬شود. سپس پیکسل¬های موجود در هر بلوک بصورت گروه¬های دوتایی دسته¬بندی شده و تفاضل بین پیکسل-های موجود در هر گروه محاسبه می¬شود. مقادیر بدست آمده در محدوده¬های مختلف که طول هر کدام با آنالیز هیستوگرام تصویر پوشانه بدست می¬آید، کلاس بندی می¬شوند. تعداد بیت¬هایی که می تواند در هر جفت از پیکسل¬ها جاسازی شود، بستگی به طول هر محدوده¬ای دارد که تفاضل پیکسل¬ها در آن کلاس قرار می¬گیرد. نتایج شبیه¬سازی نشان دهنده¬ی افزایش 30 %- 40 % ظرفیت نهان نگاری نسبت به روش تفاضل مقادیر پیکسلی می¬باشد. در ادامه جهت مقایسه کیفیت تصاویر نهان نگاری شده با تصاویر مرجع، از روش¬ PSNR استفاده شده است.
