Der Vortrag auf der Tagung "forschen und promovieren in der sozialen arbeit" an der ASH Berlin 15.-16.1.2016 bilanziert bisherige Entwicklungen der Promotionsförderung nach FH-Abschluss in Sozialer Arbeit und skizziert Themen, die für die weitere Entwicklung relevant sind.

With the increasing hierarchy level in working organizations the percentage of female persons in leadership positions is changing in a decreasing manner. Therefore female leaders are still seen as the "exception from the rule" in society and considered as ex-traordinary. Brought about by this certain status, the group of female leaders is given particular literary attention. The scientific discourse includes among other topics the question whether there exists a specific female leadership style which –in some authors` perception – is characterized by being less hierarchical and more oriented to interpersonal relationships. The impact of certain female specific challenges – arising from gender-related socialization – on how women shape and create their leadership style, is also often discussed. A review of the relevant literature reveals that despite of the particular attention to women in leading positions little is known about the perspective of the female leaders` follow...
