Karizmatik Liderlik ve Orgutsel Yenilikcilik

In today’s great orientation era, organizations have to behave on the basis of knowledge, creativity and innovativeness in order to conform their environment. Nowadays, educational organizations can be defined as organizations where knowledge is produced, the use of knowledge is facilitated, innovation and change are rapidly experienced. In this sense, the main objective of this study is to examine the relationship between employees’ charismatic leadership behavior and organizational innovation perception. For this purpose, a quantitative study is conducted to 212 teachers working at 14 high schools in Kars city responsible for the Ministry of Education. Results of this study revealed that there exists a positive relationship between employees’ charismatic leadership behavior and organizational innovation perception. However, no significant relationship was found between sub-dimensions of charismatic leadership such as extraordinary behavior exhibition, sensitivity to employer needs and organizational innovation.
