A living word touches your spirit as it alters your mind and heart like the creation of time that ticks away leading each of us to eternity's doorway that we will never see till we meet the unseen on that final day. Poems are meant to be read aloud and slowly in a healthy, relaxed tone of voice as your spirit determines points of pause that do speak to your soul to meditate upon the living word that breathes life into the depth of who you are. The most exciting part of your journey into "Sonnet Of A Man" is the secret treasure you must find verse by verse searching for the lessons about life, the nature of humans and even the most profound secrets about the author and that of yourself. All rights reserved Disguises Despite my disguises before all of mankind I'm just a child camouflaged in time till all my disguises will be lost in your smile of eternity does reverse each moment camouflaged in time.  A heart of a child calls out to you this time come and play in the park with me at the midnight hour.  Moon beams of play with the one whom I love; for your smile does make me become a child again.  Being an adult for such a long time this heart cries out again for the midnight hour as my disguises just fade away.  Fade away with the light of your smile making me a kid again as we dance this moment in the park of our dreams.  From swing to swing in this lovers delight we slide throughout the night.  Chasing moon beams in the night is not an imagination I have but a reality I've become when you are playing at my side releasing the child who I am from the sand box of making mud pies to going down the double slide playing with you is just a sheer delight.  When the daylight comes our disguises must return both hearts await to for the return of children in the moon beams of love.  Playing in the park in this midnight of delight making a reality to come in the heart of this child camouflaged in the daylight hoping for the smile that removes all my disguises for all of time.  Poets Rendering of Disguises: In a season of time, a darken journey I was on held by this Federal Prison of habitation this summer morning a voice said come let us play in the noise of this prison around me again this voice said come and play with me. It was the Father; my Holy Father wanting to play confused my mind and yet inside of myself I said ok Father what would you like to play Abba Father? Hide-and-Seek! Thinking to myself I am loosing it locked away in this place for my sins against mankind as the doors did open I stepped out into the yard walking this track around and around again for the 475th time but today the sky was blue without a cloud and the wind so still I could feel my heart beat. A game having no exact origin; laughing to myself since God also has no exact origin. Is this not like God? Over here the voice did say and my eyes did behold A weeping tree with its branches and leaves drooping downward, creating a graceful profile of wonder as the branches waved back at me, but how can that be as no wind can be seen as I looked around not another tree would be moving before me but just this one as the Father did say "You found me John, see if you can do it again." With an excitement in my heart me and the Father played Hide-and-seek thought the day birthing disguises the day this man was born again as a child playing with God but never telling the reason for my smile that day. A Mans Biography The Biography of a man being a story of words about the man is not something I wish to share for when we all come I to I with each other all we can see is more or less and some equal from man to man. So I will merely look above to value the measure of a man finding myself not less or more, but just like you. Theological training from schools of higher learning can be a blessing for this I know for I have done many but without God none of that matters. The End Of My Beginning; but how can that be child of God? My end; do I speak as a fool dear one as I ramble on with “The End Of My Beginning”; I think not, for I've come to the end of myself when I fell upon my knees to find life-enriching power in Christ as the old man died finding a new me in Christ! Glory dear ones is the power of Christ that can take an unworthy soul and convert it into a Saint of God. Beloved, A mind seeking truth is what we call “ A noble mind” This same noblemindedness was spoken well of in scripture by our forefather's as in part it was said about a body of new believers in Acts 17:11-12 that they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honorable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few. The end of my beginning was when I met God; not on my terms or understanding; but in His Grace, He did open my eyes to the wonders of His Glory. My name is John Michael Sheehan, and I came to know Jesus “The Christ” as my Messiah in the summer of 1967 in a white church located just blocks from the famed Venice California Beach district. A church called the Venice Church under the leadership of Pastor Omer G. Norris located at 2241 Walgrove Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90066. At seven years old when the power of God fell upon me for several hours while upon my knees as Pastor Norris would preach his message as I would see visions of Gods Glory and the dangers of sin; such meetings with God seem to always display His Glory and my need for Him; one of several I would take pleasure in with each step of my life as the most Holy would teach me a new thing each and every time showing me with each one the power of sin and how great His love is for each of us. Another meeting with God would find me as a young man in the summer of 1984; a mere seventeen years from our first meeting; I found myself upon my knees on a Southern California sidewalk under the power of God not far from another famous location unlike the famed Venice Beach, but this one would be deeply rooted in faith known as the Azusa Street Revival that began in the early 1900s. Along this narrow path of righteousness, I would stray upon many other more extensive tracks of evil and would face several ups and downs with good and evil. At times it would seem that evil had won out yet again. But God never let’s go! Beloved when you have eaten of the bread and have drink of the wine from the Master’s table, how return you to dine with another? when I found myself on my way to prison because my love for sin was much more significant than my love for God as my lust and greed for wealth, power and pleasure became my triune God. But in this Federal Prison wilderness of sin and shame my Holy Father birth inside of me a love that mere words can not truly express as God became my lover and best Friend! Glory Beloved for almost five years in this wilderness; God by His own hand and spirit taught me The perfect truth of His word and continues to do so each and every day that I draw another breath. I’ve come to live and know and understand the powerful words of Paul when he said: But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Galatians 1:11-12 (AKJV) This is why I can boldly proclaim God has given me the authority to speak upon His love for His Beloved children who call upon His name and to show them the way to living out lifestyles that are pure and Holy in a flesh seeking, sin-infested world and a church who has brought upon itself condemnation as they have conformed to man’s teaching and world standards. A church professing to know and love Christ, but not truly belonging to Him. With salvation comes regeneration; and through this regeneration comes justification and sanctification and yes this is all progressive in nature for a believer after salvation but it does require our obedience to the word of God; A conformity to the will of God as we because more like our Lord Jesus Christ by the power of the spirit of God: Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the Grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; 1 Peter 1:13-14 (NKJV) Beloved, with God there are no accidents; no luck, nor do things happen by chance! Everything and yes I mean everything is caused by or approved by God. To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God. Ecclesiastes 3:1; Romans 13:11; Ezekiel 16:8 (NKJV) I can not truly put into words what it means to be significant in Gods eyes, but I can tell you how to position yourself to be significant in Gods eyes. It’s not easy, but praise God it’s worth it all Beloved for the end of you is truly the beginning of God in you and the end of you is also the beginning of Christ-likeness in you! It all starts with the surrender of all of you; your desires; your heart; and your mind to the will of God. Beloved, you cannot fully understand the depth of God's love for you till this is done.
