Bells used in Christian churches are documentary sources due to the inscriptions, decorations and coats of arms available on them. Depending on the language in which the inscriptions were made, old bells had different names. The bells used to be donated to the churches by private persons, by the right of the founder, or by communities; the oldest bells of the medieval Moldavian state date back to the reign of Stephen the Great. The alloy used for bell casting contained copper, brass and a minor amount of silver or other elements. Bellfounders were itinerant, traveling from church to church to cast bells, the furnaces were built on sites, and the casting of large bells was carried out only during the warmer months. The most lasting operation was building the furnace and constructing the mold, and the most dangerous process was pouring the melt metal in a mold. Cercetări interdisciplinare privind conservarea ăicturilor murale din biserica rupestră de la Corbii de PiatrăThe rupestrian church of Corbii de Piatră is placed in Argeș district and it is dug into the stone. The mural painting had been examined in situ and in laboratory to detect the technique and pigments. It was found that the mural painting had been done in al fresco technique on a aerial lime as substrate. The arriccio and intonaco layers are 3-4 mm thick. The murals of Corbii de Piatră church belong to Byzantine frescoes of XII-XIV century. The mural painting has a poor state of conservation because of humidity and low temperature during winter. Units forming colonies from airspore are in connection with part of the day and season. On the walls and vault there is a thick layer of biofilm made of algae and cyanobacteria. On the paper there are different colors of spots produced by fungi. On the wood of icons and chairs it was identified Coniophora puteana, a very dangerous fungus. Among the early institutions of theological education in Bessarabia, after the opening of premiere Chisinau Theological Seminary, second was the Orthodox Ecclesiastical School for Boys, founded as the result of reform of this Theological Seminary. Until the 1960s this school was the unique institution of this kind in the Romanian province. The author highlights that the term of study at the Orthodox Ecclesiastical School for Boys constituted four years. Relevant are his observations on the study process. According to it the school graduates had the right to enroll in the first class of the Theological Seminary. Are observed the main objects included in the school program - curriculum of the ecclesiastical school for boys in Chisinau and Edinet. The last one was founded after the decision of the Diocesan Congresses of years 1867 and 1869.

The article highlights the printing activity in Chisinau in the old period and the circumstances in which the synodal exarchate was abolished. The idea of creating a new religious administrative unit and framing the annexed territory in a new diocese is analyzed.
