Abstract. In this paper we present a case study where an e-business platform (OPERATIONS) has to be built in order to manage the operational strategies of a high volume coastal company. The platform is intended to support multiple operational scenarios that have to be executed when emergency situations or sudden changes of scheduled events unfold. In order to properly integrate all the involved parties that may take part in such a scenario, the system must support multiple interaction patterns according to the communication channel and the device that is used. Thus, its design must take into account multichannel delivery of functionality and information. The design of the system follows a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in order to properly integrate back-office data sources and legacy systems with new required application extensions providing a complete e-business platform. Thus, its design must take into account multi-channel delivery of functionality and information. The design of the system follows a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in order to properly integrate back-office data sources and legacy systems with new required application extensions providing a complete e-business platform. The core business logic tier of the system is a Process Oriented Platform (POP) that is able to dynamically generate the appropriate workflows, to orchestrate the constituent services and to execute complex operational scenarios interacting with involved users and systems in a multi-channel fashion. Finally, appropriate knowledge bases have been defined to support the storage, evaluation, and evolution of the executed scenarios and to provide valuable Business Activity Monitoring information to the company’s administration.

Wyjaśnienia polskiego kryzysu konstytucyjnego. Raport z systematycznej analizy piśmiennictwa. , 2024

Przedmiotem raportu jest analiza formułowanych w piśmiennictwie naukowym wyjaśnień polskiego kryzysu konstytucyjnego po 2015 r. Raport przedstawia systematyczną prezentację oraz krytyczną ocenę formułowanych w literaturze poglądów na temat przyczyn i uwarunkowań kryzysu. W badaniu posłużono się metodą systematycznego przeglądu literatury (systematic literature review) umożliwiającej przegląd literatury badawczej przy użyciu systematycznych, jasno wyartykułowanych i możliwych do weryfikacji metod. Wyniki badania stanowią przyczynek do refleksji zarówno nad specyfiką dyskursu konstytucyjnego prowadzonego wokół problematyki kryzysu praworządności w Polsce, jak i stanem praktyki konstytucyjnej, która ukształtowała się w Polsce po 1989 r. Raport stanowi element badań realizowanych w ramach projektu „Konstytucjonalizm refleksyjny jako odpowiedź na kryzys współczesnego konstytucjonalizmu (PRACTIS: Power, Reflexivity And ConsTitutional crisIS)” finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki (2021/43/B/HS5/00414).

Since the first Merkel government in 2009, Germany’s reason of state (Staatsräson) has been increasingly formulated as ‘unconditional solidarity’ with the state of Israel, thus evolving into a logic and practice of erasing Palestine and Palestinians. In such a context, the article delves into the most recent events at German schools and universities since October 7, 2023, and examines how these educational sites have become fundamental avenues for reaffirming Germany’s Staatsräson, as well as potential spaces for its contestation. Combining the work of Lisa Lowe and Nadera Shaloub-Kervorkian, we show how liberal notions of freedom emerge and follow racial frontiers that systemically erase Palestine in the educational structures, from schools to universities. While these processes consolidate Germany’s Staatsräson, protest movements of students and pupils offer the most radical spaces to resist it.
