Muslims are one of the most underbanked yet affluent groups in the United States. 93% of Muslims in the America are unsatisfied with their banks and are looking to switch to an Islamic bank. Similarly, 420,000 US Muslim families currently do not own a home because they do not want to take a non-halal mortgage, even if they can afford one.

The growth of Islamic bank assets in North Sulawesi in December 2020 reached 23.44%, even though the non-Muslim population reached 61.53%. One Islamic Bank, Manado branch, has more non-Muslim customers than Muslim customers, so it is interesting to research. This research aims to reveal the factors that influence their decision to become customers of Islamic banks. The data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation to fourteen people consisting of non-Muslim customers of Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Indonesia Manado Branch. The analysis technique is through reduction and presentation of data to determine conclusions. The results of the study found. They become customers of Islamic banks because of the service, price/cost, product, facilities, references, and benefits. This research can be used as evaluation material and input for the Islamic banking industry.

The study aimed was to identify the challenges faced by the Islamic banking and finance industry in order to find the appropriate and suitable solution that will enable the continuation and expansion of the industry. The study attempts to define the challenges and obstacles faced by the Islamic Banking and Finance Industry in the UK. The study adapted different research methods including collecting primary data surveys. However, secondary data through descriptive analysis and logistic regression is also used. This study found that the Islamic banking and Finance Industry in the UK face a number of challenges, which may hinder and slow down its growth. The study also found that there is a great opportunity for the growth of the industry if appropriate measures are taken. Also, despite the fact that many of the responses of the population sample show that they have awareness about Islamic banking and finance, they are still hesitant about dealing with Islamic banks.

Product and services provided by Islamic banking are gaining popularity among not only among Muslim customers but also among non-Muslims across the world due to its wider products coverage and ability to pass through the global economic melt-down. However, to what extent this statement is true in the context of Bangladesh needs focus and hence this research aims to investigate the perception of nonMuslim customers about the products and services provided by Islamic banking in Bangladesh. A total of 12 actual respondents participated in the survey at selected areas in the northern part of Bangladesh. The result of the study showed that the perception of non-Muslims regarding Islamic banking is positive and it’s gaining popularity day by day. During recent years, there has been an increase in Islamic banking compared with conventional banking. This research aims to explore and determine potential factors pertaining to the growth of the Islamic banking system in the banking and finance industry and asks the following questions: i) Which factors influence the British Bangladeshi Muslim Community (BBMC) in Greater London regarding adopting the Islamic banking system? ii) Do the Muslim scholar's inconsistent views create any confusion about or obstacles to the growth and development of the Islamic banking system?
