Dem Konzept der Responsivität in der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation, von dem hier die Rede sein soll, geht eine lange philosophische Tradition voraus, die sich mit dem Dialog als besonderer Form der Begegnung beschäftigt hat. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag soll der Versuch gemacht werden, die therapeutische Beziehung transdisziplinär aus der Perspektive der Ästhetik und der Dialogphilosophie zu beleuchten. Dabei stellt sich zunächst die Frage, wie sich vorgegebene Rollen in der Therapie, die die therapeutische Beziehung in einer bestimmten Weise strukturieren, zu einer dialogischen Beziehung verhalten.
