L'elaborato si propone di analizzare in chiave comparata come la lotta istituzionale al terrorismo politico di matrice marxista-leninista abbia comportato una generale limitazione delle libertà fondamentali e costituzionalmente garantite nei due Paesi oggetto di studio: Italia e Germania. I gruppi terroristici presi in considerazione sono, rispettivamente, le Brigate Rosse e la Rote Armee Fraktion.
Il Capitolo I si propone di ricostruire le cause storiche e sociali che hanno contribuito alla formazione e al consolidamento dei gruppi terroristici partendo dalle mobilitazioni studentesche e operaie degli anni '60.
Il Capitolo II analizza più in dettaglio la struttura delle organizzazioni terroristiche, studiandone i risvolti sociali, psicologici, culturali e curandone l'evoluzione storica.
Il Capitolo III si concentra su come la lotta istituzionale al terrorismo politico di sinistra abbia in realtà comportato un generale restringimento delle libertà fondamentali nei cittadini di entrambi i Paesi in questione.

For a quantitative description of the measured dynamic mixing behavior of ethanol and glycerol, a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation is carried out by using the ANSYS CFX-10 tool. An unstructured mesh with tetrahedral cells is generated by using ANSYS ICEM CFD 5.1. The newly modified algebraic slip model (MASM) which includes the ethanol droplets break-up as a function of time d(p)(t) by using a validated step function gives the real mixing behavior, i.e., viscosity as a function of time eta(m)(t) and mixing times (t(m)) in good agreement with the experimental results in semi-batch reactor (SBR) at different dosage times and in batch reactor (BR) at a total liquid height of 0.14 m. The modified model proposed in present paper which is based on the algebraic slip model (ASM) gives results closer to experimental results than its original model and the transport model (TRM). The prolongation of the mixing time by a factor of 1.5 caused by the pan cake effect is predicted by the MASM. The flow velocity and mixture viscosity fields of ethanol/glycerol as a function of time are calculated in a 3D BR.

The rare earth elements are a key component of modern hi-technology products and they are a new component in the modern solid wastes and waste waters. This paper is an innovative and significant contribution to the database for modern environmental monitoring.

Biodetritus that formed over a 7-month period in microcosms with Viviparus viviparus, Unio pictorum , and Ceratophyllum demersum contained a number of elements. This is the first study to determine concentrations of some elements in biodetritus. Neutron activation analysis showed that the elements’ concentrations decrease in the following order: Ca > Zn > Ba > Br > Ce > Se > Nd > La > U > Hf > Sb > Th > Sm > S > Cs > Au. The data obtained contribute to understanding of the polyfunctional role of aquatic organisms in aquatic ecosystems.

Nicholson reveals their everyday world set out in early 14th-century records of the Templars’ estates. These records show us how the Templars operated, the men and women who worked for them on their lands and houses, their tenants and the people who owed them money. We can see what animals they kept, from warhorses to plough animals, with cattle, pigs and flocks of sheep. The accounts record fields of grain or hay, meadow and woodland, mills and fishponds. Drawing on these records, along with archaeological evidence and the Templars’ own regulations, Nicholson sets out to reconstruct how the Templars lived from day-to-day. The Everyday Life of the Templars: The Knight Templars at Home is a fascinating insight into the everyday lives of these pious men, who were not powerful nobles or great churchmen, yet held great influence in medieval Europe.

In attending to the relationship between surveillance and human flourishing, this chapter contrib-utes to filling the gap in theological education around recognising that digitized, deconstructed bodies in cyberspace have material implications for people’s life chances.  It considers theological works on contemporary surveillance and places the issues in relation to van der Ploeg’s ‘informa-tionized body’ and Swinton’s proposal for the ‘resurrection of the person’. Patel’s problematizing of the browning of bodies under surveillance brings engagement with media mis-representation of marginalized groups. (Duplicate entry) It is a commonplace of medieval history that diocesans and metropolitans were in constant conflict with the exempt religious orders of the Church. From the second decade of the twelfth century onwards, a succession of papal privileges exempted the military religious orders from the authority of the diocesan bishops, as a means of enabling these orders to increase their income and allow them to discharge their functions more effectively. The Templars’ and Hospitallers’ exemptions in particular have attracted some detailed study. This chapter will focus on these privileged orders in Britain and Ireland, considering how they used the privileges granted by the papacy to achieve power and authority and how this led them into conflict with diocesan bishops. Nevertheless, the interests of these two groups did not necessarily conflict with each other; positive, constructive relations also existed.

The aim of this work was to investigate the antioxidant capacities and anti-inflammatory activities of ethanol extracts of leaves of Cassia alata, Eleusine indica, Carica papaya, Eremomastax speciosa and the stem bark of Polyscias fulva, collected in Cameroon. O desmatamento na Amazônia representa, atualmente, um dos principais problemas ambientais do Brasil. A contenção deste processo requer políticas públicas baseadas no entendimento das forças que controlam, aceleram e desaceleram a perda de floresta. Para avaliar ocorrências de desmatamento no sul do Estado de Roraima foram utilizados dois buffers de 20 km de largura subdivididos em oito faixas de 2500 metros ao longo das duas principais rodovias da região: BR-174 e BR-210 em um ambiente de Sistema de Informações Geográficas - SIG. O período analisado foi entre 2001 e 2007, sendo utilizados dados de desmatamento do PRODES e análises visuais em imagens TM Landsat 5. Também foram utilizados arquivos shapefile da malha viária e de Projetos de Assentamento (PAs) do Sul do Estado de Roraima, junto com observações de campo.
