Due to its geological, geomorphological, climatic, and pedological history, the Kenitra coastal region is naturally prone to a wealth of sand at its littoral fringe. To understand the relationship between the different units of the beach profile, the study of the sedimentological characteristics of the sampled deposits along the studied profiles and in their different units enabled us to identify the granulometric, calcimetric, and morphoscopic characteristics of these deposits; and to follow their evolution transversely along the same profile and longitudinally to the North and South of the Sebou river mouth. This study allows characterizing these sediments as medium and well-classified sands with high rates of carbonates of calcium. These latter attest to their bioclastic origin and the low rate of detrital elements. As regards the morphoscopic characters, the study of these latter shows the coexistence of the three types of grains, namely NU, EL, and RM. This mixture found in the three morphological units confirms the continuous exchanges between them.
