Fast Fourier transform (FFT) is an efficient method to implement discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and DFT is a Fourier Transform which is used for discrete time signals to convert time domain signals into frequency domain. The Fast Fourier Transform is a very important operation in the field of digital signal processing. The paper concentrates on the implementation of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) through Decimation-In- Time (DIT) with Radix-2 algorithm. VHDL can be used as design entity and Xilinx Design Suite may be used for synthesis purpose.

El escrito que presentamos en esta edición, nos relata la experiencia de diseño, implementación y evaluación de los Centros de Desarrollo Infantil Temprano desarrollado en conjunto por CEANIM e INTEGRA. Se trata de un programa de intervención que busca impactar en las condiciones de desarrollo de la infancia temprana (0 a 3 años).

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Part Of Speech (POS) tagset has been prepared for the Indian Languages by the POS Tag Standardization Committee of Department of Information Technology (DIT), New Delhi, India. The BIS POS tagset aims to ensure standardization in the POS tagging of all the Indian Languages. It has been used for POS tagging in the Indian Languages Corpora Initiative (ILCI) project which has developed parallel annotated corpora consisting of 25000 sentences each from the tourism and the health domain for 11 Indian Languages. In this paper we present some challenges encountered while using the BIS POS tagset for Konkani, a morphologically rich Indian Language, along with the possible solutions to overcome these challenges.

The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) was statutorily established as an autonomous institution on 1 January 1993, under the Dublin Instute of Technology Act (1992). It was constituted from the six higher education colleges of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee. This book describes the evolution and accomplishments of the Institute from its beginnings 113 years ago, and includes its rapid academic developments over the past thirty years. The DIT is now a multi-level higher education institution with the largest enrolment of all the higher education institutions in the state - about 22,000 (10,500 full-time students, 4,000 apprentices and some 7,500 other part-time students).
