Modern India is in need of substantial growth of the industrial and agricultural sectors for her march towards a global power and to successfully meet the social obligations such as poverty alleviation, raising standard of living, and meaningful employment to all. The role of entrepreneurs in this aspect is highly significant. Some of the Indian entrepreneurs have been instrumental in shaping the destiny of millions by providing them employment in their enterprises, venturing into untested arena, and introducing innovative business strategies. This naturally drawback our attention to need of different entrepreneurship skills required and nurturing that skills from college level and making them aware about being a job provider instead of job seeker as India faces a critical problem of millions of educated youngsters who are deemed unfit for employment because of lack of skills. As entrepreneurial skills will not only help in developing skills which are required to be a good entrepreneur but also develop skills required for a job So, while India needs more jobs, with new entrepreneur , it should also make its graduates job-ready with powerful skills so that after clearing their graduation period they don't have to waste their valuable time in opting/perusing different skill development courses required for a job. ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS IN TODAYS ERA Entrepreneurial skills are to be inculcated from various dimensions and one way is to build it as part of the education system. Entrepreneurship skills should be developed as life skills rather than an economic activity. Motivating the child to grow with an enterprising spirit, accepting new challenges and finding new opportunities, developing management capability through live projects, motivating and teaching students to overcome the external and internal barriers of entrepreneurship and maximizing the opportunity for experiential learning. Knowing that entrepreneurship skills are to be inculcated in students, for the betterment of the individual and the society, the next question that rises is, "What are the entrepreneurship skills that needs to be built in students?" The study explores on the entrepreneurship skills development in business education for sustainability in Nigeria tertiary institutions. The study adopted descriptive survey design with a population of 1,628 (78 business educators made up of 72 lecturers and 6 instructors) and 1,550 undergraduate students with sample size of 318 students determined using Taro Yamane from tertiary institutions in Enugu State giving a total of 396 from sample size used for the study. There was no sampling for the Business educators since the population size is manageable. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire titled: “Entrepreneurship Skills Development in Business Education Questionnaire (ESDBEQ)”. The instrument was validated by three experts from the Department of Business Education; two from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and one from Federal College of Education Eha-Amufu. Using Cronbach Alpha Method, a coefficient of 0.87 was obtained for the reliability of the instrument. The mean and standard deviation were used to answer for the research questions. ANOVA was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The findings of the study revealed that entrepreneurship skill acquisition in business education involves the mastery, development of unconventional talents and skills or expertise on the key area such as creativity, determination, competitiveness and knowledge. It was recommended among others that business educators should set-up a joint curriculum of entrepreneurial, innovative, technical skills and training. Business educators should align with entrepreneurial centres in our institutions and other institutions to bridge the gap created by the prospects of discrepancy in skills, knowledge and inventiveness or become proficient in those skills for self-reliance and employment generation.

The paper deals with the potential relationship between higher education and entrepreneurial activities. Universities and other higher education institutions could be seen as boosting entrepreneurship in the region. University graduates could be more often involved in starting up a new business and the university itself could commercialize their innovations by creating academic spin-off companies. The paper aims to examine the potential effect of higher education on the probability of starting a business as well as its further success. Based on the data for 40 EU and non-EU countries, retrieved from a Eurobarometer survey, we conducted probit and IV probit regressions. These have tested the assumed relationship between higher education and entrepreneurial activities. Our results strongly suggest that higher education can often be very beneficial for starting up a new business and this seems to be one of the factors determining the success of new businesses. Furthermore, those respondents who attended courses related to entrepreneurship appear to be more active in starting-up a business and this seems to be also positively correlated with the company's future success. Interestingly, university graduates from Brazil, Portugal and India in particular, tend to appreciate the role that their universities have played in acquiring the skills to enable them to run a business.

To prepare students to face the world of work, universities should ensure that engineers graduating from their campuses demonstrate entrepreneurial skills and the ability to understand market forces alongside domain knowledge. This exploratory study focused on the design, application, and evaluation of a research-based coursework assignment in a business communication course offered to undergraduate level engineering students at a university college in Oman. The assignment aimed at developing students' entrepreneurship skills, basic business concepts, creativity, critical thinking, communication skills, and research skills. Student perceptions on the role of assignment in developing the above-mentioned skills and in influencing their affective domain were gathered using a survey questionnaire carrying closed and open-ended questions. The data were analyzed using SPSS and frequency tables were generated. The results of the survey revealed that the students enjoyed working on the assignment and showed strong agreement for most of the items on the role of assignment in developing their skills and knowledge. The assignment model used in this study can support teachers in designing assessments that target the development of entrepreneurial skills alongside other meta-skills and can help solve the problem of unemployment in due course.

Problem Statement: The increasing need of the funding and financing has changed the universities mission universities in terms of their commercial activities,particularly those in the best ranking lists of the universities. Research Questions: What kind of commercial activities is more important in increasing revenues is questioned taking into account the comparative study in the US,UK,and Turkey since they are critically in transition. Purpose of the Study: This paper focuses carefully on the university commercialization in three different countries(the US,the UK,and Turkey) in which the main activities,which create effective and efficient in increasing funding and financing,are analyzed because right decisions would be taken into account for short and long-term sustainable success of the universities. Research Methods: By using a phenomenological analysis, the data were collected through 57 semi-structured interviews with technology transfer officers (67) at 6 different universities (2 in the US, 1 in the UK, and 3 in Turkey) in three different countries. As taking into consideration the observations of the researchers,the collected data of were systematically examined in NVivo 10, data analysis software-program. Findings: The study shows critically that the heterogeneous commercial activities were seen in three different countries. The findings clarified that the university leadership was critical in funding and financing the universities. The American and English universities were really very successful in developing university-industry partnership comparing to Turkey. Their licensing revenues of the university patents were much higher than Turkish universities. Conclusions: The Technology Transfer Offices(TTOs) played important roles in developing university-industry partnership,particularly in the US and UK:however,in Turkey,the TTOs were so new in developing strong relationship with the industry. Additionally, the revenue through licensing activities was still limited.While the American and English universities were commercialized and funded by means of the industry,the Turkish universities were funded by the government.

The purpose of this article is to present certain facts related to English Language Teaching curriculum in Moroccan higher education institutions. There is a high demand of leadership and entrepreneurial skills for university students to participate in individual and societal development. This study reveals the findings from empirical questionnaires distributed among lecturers to reflect upon challenges, requirements, and future prospects of ELT. It examines the necessary competencies and skills targeted in the teaching process, trying to update the tools and the knowledge to the needs of the job market. The role that the reform of ELT curriculum ought to play in Higher education institutions' guidelines has not to be considered little since it can promote the quality, the skills and the capacities of students in their future jobs.

Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin fen bilimleri derslerinde girişimcilik becerilerini belirlemeye yönelik bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle literatürde ortaokul düzeyindeki öğrencilere kazandırılabilecek girişimcilik becerileri belirlenmiş ve bu becerilere yönelik maddelerden oluşan taslak form oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra oluşturulan taslak form görüş ve önerileri alınmak üzere dört uzmanın görüşlerine sunulmuştur. Son hali verilen form Kahramanmaraş ilçe merkezinde altı farklı ortaokulda öğrenim gören toplam 966 5-8. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen açımlayıcı faktör analizi, hiyararşik kümeleme analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile ölçeğin yapı geçerliği sağlanmıştır. Ayrıca ölçme aracında yer alan her bir maddeye ilişkin standart sapma, madde-toplam puan korelasyonları, aritmetik ortalamaları hesaplanmıştır. Faktörler arasındaki ilişkiye bağlı olarak Promax döndürme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Diğer taraftan güvenirlik için Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Analizler sonucunda “Risk Alma” “Başarı İhtiyacı”, “Takım Çalışması” ve “Etkili İletişim” faktörlerinden oluşan 13 maddelik 4 faktörlü bir yapıda “Fen Tabanlı Girişimcilik Ölçeği” geliştirilmiştir. Hiyerarşik kümeleme analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi bulguları ölçeğin faktör yapısını doğrulamıştır. Ölçeğin tamamına ilişkin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı .76 ve toplamda açıklanan varyans oranı % 54.34 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu sonuçlara bağlı olarak analiz sonuçlarının farklı illerde benzer örneklemler üzerinde yürütülecek araştırma bulgularıyla kıyaslanabileceği söylenebilir. Ayrıca ortaokul öğrencilerinin Girişimcilik becerilerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelendiği alan taramasına yönelik araştırmalar yürütülebilir.
