Özet AraĢtırmanın Amacı: Gaziantep ile ilgili imaj algısının farklı Ģehirlerde yaĢayanların gözünde nasıl algılandığının ve algının ilin turizm potansiyeline etkisini incelemektir. AraĢtırmanın Yöntemi: AraĢtırma nicel araĢtırma yöntemlerinden anket tekniği kullanılarak gerçekleĢtirilmiĢtir. Bu kapsamda Ġzmir, Ankara ve Ġstanbul illerinde 300 " er kiĢi olmak üzere toplamda 900 kiĢiye anket yapılmıĢtır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 22.0 programı ile değerlendirilmiĢtir. Bulgular: Gaziantep " in imajı hakkında algının olumlu düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiĢtir. Sonuç ve Öneriler: Gaziantep " e yönelik olumlu imaj algısının devam ettirilmesi açısından, kültürel ve gastronomi değerlerinin ön plana çıkarılmasına önem verilmesi bulgular ile ortaya konulmuĢtur. Ayrıca destinasyon yönetimi kapsamında birtakım öneriler geliĢtirilmiĢtir. Abstract The aim of the research: The image perception of Gaziantep is examined in the eyes of the people living in different cities and the effect of tourism potential on the subject. The method of the research: The research was carried out using the questionnaire of quantitative research methods. Within this scope, a total of 900 people were surveyed, including 300 people in Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul. Analysis of the obtained data was evaluated with the SPSS 22.0 program. Results: It has been determined that the image about Gaziantep's image is positive. Conclusion and Recommendations: In terms of continuing the positive image perception towards Gaziantep, it has been revealed with the findings that importance is given to the foreground of cultural and gastronomic values. In addition, some suggestions were developed in the context of destination management.

Shaped metal deposition (SMD) method is a relatively new net-shaped or near-net-shaped part production technique compared to the other additive manufacturing techniques. SMD process is preferable as an alternative to traditional manufacturing methods especially for complex featured and large scale solid parts manufacturing and it is particularly used for aerospace structural components, manufacturing and repairing of dies/molds. SMD method is implemented by depositing continuous wire melted via welding arc heat. SMD does not need vacuum environment as in electron beam. It has low investment cost, and there is no risk of reflectivity/health problems as in laser beam melting. This work covers the development of a 3-axes SMD machine using arc metal-wire system. Metal deposition has been performed by using tungsten inert gas welding arc and continuously fed wire externally supplied to the system. The paper explains the design, construction and control programming stages of the developed additive manufacturing system. A sample implementation is also given in order to verify the developed SMD system.

In the research that was conducted on 100 primary school teacher candidates who are in four different universities, three texts that consist of a narrative, an informative and a poem were given to teacher candidates and they were asked to explain in writing how to do preparation and comprehension works for each text whose level is appropriate for fifth grade. Additive layered manufacturing (ALM) is a new method of manufacturing technologies and it has been used industrial applications. In this production technique the material is added layer by layer in order to get near or net shape of the full geometry instead of removing material. Thus final shape of the products can be produced with using less material and more complex shape of products. In this work, a new experimental set-up, which is used for producing cylindrical components with different sizes. This experimental set-up is integrated with TIG-welding machine and wire feeding unit to develop a shaped metal deposition (SMD) process which is one of the layered manufacturing methods. Three-dimensional (3-D) geometry parts can be produced via metal additive technique. The experimental results show that there are three important issues that have to be addressed in the design of the deposition process based on gas tungsten arc welding: the pre-heating of the substrate, the arc-length control, and the heat-input control. From the results, the optimum set of parameters which can selected to produce cylindrical parts with stable deposition process are: I=120 A, TS= 0.18 m/min, and WFS = 1.9 m/min.
