In this article calculates the system parameters, performing assessments of sheet metals’ flatness using a diffraction grating. The results of calculations are used to configure the system, producing an assessment of rolled strip flatness contactless method. The method is based on the analysis of the diffraction pattern, falling on the finished products, which is located on the calibration tables. The recommended settings of diffraction gratings’ period is composed, depending on the bandwidth.

Usiminas as a company that has the expertise in manufacturing flat steel products in aim to hold and increase the leadership in the production and market of these products has invested huge amount of money in modernization of the hot rolled products manufacturing. The Hot Mill installed in 2012 at Cubatão Plant is one of the most modern in the world. Aggregating added value on the products profitilium the New Continuos Pickling completes the line of products offering increasing the range in dimensions and qualities. The Mix of hot rolled products now attends to thinner gauges as wider widths, beyond steel grades not offered before. This work aims to demonstrate the main steps of this project and the benefits and results achieved with the installation of new production line, this being the state of the art production of pickled, endowed with a high technological level that ensures obtaining products with high added value, meeting the most stringent quality standards.

This study aims to analyze Thailand's Barriers to dumping on Imports of Non Alloy Hot Rolled Steel Flat Products in Coils and Not in Coils Products in 2014. To analyzing the case, the author use several concepts such as of International Trade and Negotiations Trade as well as with the Perspective of Protectionism. Periodization of research is limited between 2014-2018, when Thailand investigated the increase in the import of Indonesian Flat Hot Rolled Steel in Thailand until the postponement of safeguard barriers by the Government of Thailand. The results of this study indicate that with the increase in imports of Non Alloy Hot Rolled Steel Flat Products in Coils and Not in Coils Products, bring in reaction for the Thai side to impose an investigation and implement the Anti Dumping and Countervailing Act policy.

The layer-by-layer structural and texture ingomogeneities of hot-rolled 55KhN2MA-Sh steel sheets are studied by X-ray diffraction. Hot rolling of the steel forms a substantial layer-by-layer texture inho-mogeneity in the sheets: the {112} and {110} texture components prevail in the external layers in the sheets; the {100} , {112} , and {554} texture components prevail in the central layers; and texture is very weak in the intermediate layers. The crystallographic texture is shown to influence the anisotropy of the mechanical properties of the sheet. The layers with different crystallographic textures are found to exhibit different mechanical properties and different anisotropy coefficients. The anisotropy of the properties is characteristic of the central layers, and it is less pronounced in the external layers of the hot-rolled sheets.
