Newly acid hydrazide was synthesized from ethyl 2-(2,3-dimethoxyphenoxy) acetate (2), which is cyclized to the corresponding  4-amino-1,2,4-triazole (3). Five newly azo derivatives (4a-e) were synthesized from this 1,2,4-triazole by converting the amine group to diazonium salt then reacted with various substituent phenol,as well three newly imine derivatives (5a-c) were synthesized from reacting the amine group of compound (3) with three aryl aldehyde. The thermal electro conductivity of these compounds was tested at 30, 50, 75 and 100 áµ’C. compound 4a showed interesting electro conductivity at 75áµ’C as well 5a at 75áµ’C while 5b showed significant conductivity at 100 áµ’C

Water pollution is referred to as the introduction of exotic species into an ecosystem, which poses serious difficulties for both the environment and human health. As a result, water treatment has garnered a lot of interest in recent studies, particularly for dyes removal. In an effort to synthesize new photocatalysts with the highest potential for removing pollutants, photocatalytic degradation of two types of dyes; aniline blue, and malachite green by newly synthesized Ag(I), Ni(II), and Co(II) complexes photocatalysts has been investigated here. Ag(I), Ni(II), and Co(II) ions were used to interact with the novel imine ligand, HL, which was produced by condensing 3-acetylcoumarin, and sulfadimidine, in order to make the desired complexes. Neste estudo são investigados potenciometricamente os equilíbrios ácido-base de bases de Schiff contendo ciclobutano e tiazol como grupos funcionais e de seus complexos de cobre(II), níquel(II) e zinco(II) em dioxano-água, 60% em média, a 25,0 ± 0,1 o C e com I = 0,10 mol L -1 (NaClO 4). Os valores das constantes de protonação, logK OH , logK NH(1) e logK NH(2) , determinados no presente estudo, estão relacionados com a protonação do átomo de oxigênio do fenolato, do átomo de nitrogênio no anel tiazólico e do átomo de nitrogênio imínico, respectivamente. A variação das constantes de protonação das bases de Schiff foi interpretada em função de fatores estruturais. Estas bases formam complexos estáveis com os íons cobre(II), níquel(II) e zinco(II). Não foi encontrada nenhuma correlação significativa entre a basicidade das bases de Schiff e as constantes de estabilidade dos seus complexos. The Schiff base 3-(2-hydroxy-phenylimino)-1,3-diphenyl-propan-1-one (L), was prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and mass spectral techniques. The crystal and molecular structures were determined by using the single crystal X-ray diffraction data. The crystal was triclinic with unit-cell dimensions: a = 9.051(3) Å, b = 10.245(3) Å, c = 11.016(3) Å, α = 69.28(2)°, β = 81.66(2)°, γ = 64.25(2)°, space group is Pī and Z = 2. The structure was refined by least squares method. The single crystal was prepared by supersaturating method using tetramethoxysilane as gelling agent. Energy minimization for locating stable conformations and single point energy calculations for comparing the obtained and calculated conformations of the same molecule were carried out using molecular mechanics method (MM2 force field). Arylimines offer promise in dynamic-covalent materials due to their recyclability and ease of synthesis. However, their light-triggered E/Z isomerism has received little attention. This is attributed to challenges that include low thermal stability of their metastable state (<60 s at 20 °C), incomplete photoswitching (<50% to the metastable state), and the need for UV light (≤365 nm). We overcome these limitations with a novel class of imine photoswitch, the aryliminopyrazoles (AIPs). These AIPs can be switched using visible light (470 nm), attain photostationary states with over 95% of the Z-isomer, exhibit great resistance to fatigue, and have thermal half-lives up to 19.2 hours at room temperature. Additionally, they display T-type and negative photochromism under visible light irradiation—a useful property. Addition polymerization of norbornene was performed with several pyridine bis(imine) cobalt dichloride complexes activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO), first described for ethylene polymerization. For the first time, norbornene was also polymerized with CoCl2 associated to MAO. The influence of several reaction parameters has been investigated. Quite different behavior was observed compared with ethylene polymerization. In this paper, we describe the synthesis of two new pyridine‐bis(imine)s {4‐chloro‐2,6‐bis[1‐(2,6‐diisopropylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine and 2,6‐bis[1‐(2,6‐dimethylcyclohexylimino)ethyl]pyridine} and their complexation with iron and cobalt dichloride. The solid‐state structure of the iron complexes was solved and found to be very close to catalysts already described by Brookhart and Gibson. Their ability to polymerize ethylene was investigated after activation with MAO. It was thus shown that the substitution of the pyridine ring of the ligand is unfavorable: their catalytic activity is rather low. The replacement of the aromatic rings on the imine functions by dimethylcyclohexyl rings resulted in a complete loss of activity of the iron complex for oligomerization and polymerization of ethylene. Ruthenium-catalyzed hydroboration of nitriles and imines is attained using pinacolborane with unprecedented catalytic efficiency. Chemoselective hydroboration of nitriles over esters is also demonstrated. A simple [Ru(p-cymene)Cl2]2 complex (1) is used as a catalyst precursor, which upon reaction with pinacolborane in situ generates the monohydrido-bridged complex [{(η(6)-p-cymene)RuCl}2(μ-H-μ-Cl)] 2. Further oxidative addition of pinacolborane to intermediate 2 leading to the formation of mononuclear ruthenium hydride species is suggested. Mass spectral analysis of the reaction mixture and independent experiments with phosphine-ligated ruthenium complexes indicated the involvement of mononuclear ruthenium intermediates in the catalytic cycle. The newly derivatives of 4-amino-3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazol containing 1,3-oxazepine derivatives were synthesized by reaction of new synthesis compounds containing imine group (S)1-10 with phthalic anhydride, in dry benzene to give compounds (O)1-10. All these synthesized compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis and FTIR and some of them were characterized using 1H-MNR and mass spectroscopy.
