The main aim of the evaluation is to enhance the ability of development partners to impact the necessary assistance to rural communities by hightlight gaps and encouraging well planned clearance schedules. Therefore the EU along with its partners, the UNDP, WFP and INGO’s, have been given to date forty millions euros to address these issues. All projects have been implemented with the cooperation of the INEA and CNIDAH. In addition to these objectives the EU wishes to assist Angola with its first application for an extension of the Ottawa Convention in order to attain its objectives in Article 5 of that convention.
