Olena Taranenko. Immigrants, refugees, outlaw? Semantic-value ambiguity of
the IDP status in the Ukrainian mass consciousness. The main objectives of the study are the analysis of the distorted trends of the IDP image in the morden Ukrainian mass consciousness.  IDP іmage changes are interpreted as transformations of the Ukrainian meanings and values.
The analysis shows, the mythologization and the framing are the most suitable semantic operations that use Ukrainian political discourse and mass media.
The analysis was carried out on the material of media texts about internally displaced persons, texts of the IDP self-identification, sociological research and media texts about IDP Adventure social game. According to the developers of the game, IDP Adventure «was developed to raise awareness about the practical issues that IDPs face, to help overcome stereotypes, and to disprove the ‘scary tales’ about IDPs. This game is a simulated experience of the 1.6 million of our fellow citizens who are IDPs. The raising of awareness among the broad population and representatives of all branches of government about IDP issues with this game will prevent their future discrimination».
The goal of IDP Adventure was not achieved. The semantic-value ambiguity of the IDP status in Ukrainian society and in the Ukrainian mass consciousness is the main cause of failure.
The Ukrainian media discourse combines opposite semantic and values trends. As a result, the IDP status are contradictory and indefinite. We emphasize the relationship between the semantic diffusion of the concept of "immigrant" and ambiguity of the IDP status. Shown problematic aspects of legal, economic, social, media IDP status.
Semantic-value ambiguity of the IDP іmage leads to mythologization and is used by Ukrainian political technology of division of Ukrainians.

У статті досліджуються міфологічні та пропагандистські аспекти формування та функціонування політичного іміджу. Автор розглядає політичний іміджмейкінг як пропагандистську технологію, а забезпечення функціонування політичного іміджу - як форму пропагандистської влади. Він трактує пропагандистську владу як здатність нав'язувати суспільству і його групам значення, які структурують політичну поведінку в інтересах споживачів пропаганди. Відповідно до його концепції, функціонування політичного іміджу, що є необхідним компонентом пропагандистського простору, забезпечується засобами міфологізації, деміфологізації та реміфологізації.

Мета статті - осмислити формування і функціонування політичного іміджу в міфологічному і пропагандистському вимірах.

Наукові результати. Механізм міфу в політичному іміджмейкінгу функціонує як підміна фактів значенням. Міф перекодовує несвідомі компоненти сприйняття людиною соціальної і політичної реальності в складну, емоційно насичену модель, а саме - політичні іміджі дійових осіб, ідей, інститутів і країн. Завдяки їм суспільна свідомість робить незнайому і складну реальність знайомою і структурно зрозумілою, тобто відповідає стереотипам, страхам і бажанням публіки. У контексті формування іміджу держави навіть історія стає політикою пам'яті, яка орієнтована на побудову наративу, здатного надихнути суспільство на підтримку ідеологічних засад режиму. Міф залучає політичного суб'єкта в боротьбу за свободу, безпеку та ідеали кращого життя за допомогою емоцій, викликання переживань, страхів і бажань, втілених в політичному іміджі. Архетипи відіграють важливу роль у формуванні політичного іміджу. По суті, архетипи є опорними точками міфу, на яких формується вплив іміджу на громадську думку. Функціонуючи в системі політичного іміджмейкінгу, політичний міф надихає і емоційно трансформує політичного суб'єкта, апелюючи до його уяві, завдяки чому реальна політична реальність в сприйнятті реципієнта заміщається символічними і уявними об'єктами, тобто образами, що витісняють її справжнє розуміння.

FORMATION OF STUDENT`S ARGUMENTATION SKILLS AS A WAY OF COUNTERACTING PROPAGANDA INFLUENCE, MYTHOLOGIZATION AND LINGUISTIC AGGRESSION

The article analyzes the experience of experimental programs and training exercises made by teachers of the Department of Journalism of the Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University in the international scientific project "Aggression and Argumentation: Conflict Discourse and it`s Language Solution" ("Aggression and Argumentation: Conflict Discipline and Ihre Sprachliche Verhandlung" ), which is being implemented jointly with the Institute of Slavic Studies at Dresden Technical University (Germany).
We based it at the professional standards of journalism, the rules of conflict-sensitive journalism and the laws of communicative logic and we offer a special course, which includes three thematic blocks with the necessary media competencies.
The first part of the course involves studying the mechanism of propaganda influence, the danger of the journalism transformation into propaganda and studying the widespread manipulation in modern media.
The second part includes preventive abilities and skills of transfering it into materials created by students. In this thematic block students studying the mechanisms of remitiologization as an effective instrument of massization, emotional pseudo-argumentation, substitution of theses and arguments through mythological constructs, creation and rooting of stereotypes, etc.
The third block contains the study of common forms of linguistic aggression in modern media and political discourse. Also it contains information about the student`s ability to conduct a professional discussion in the analytic genres of journalism and in various types of public controversy.
The experimental special course was tested in the educational process of student`s studying at the specialty "Journalism", in different thematic blocks of disciplines "Introduction to the specialty", "Communicative logic", "Analytical genres of journalism", "The theory of mass communication". Also it was tested during the International Media School which was organized by the Department of Journalism of Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University in March 2017.

The history of artifacts (human-made objects) is as great as the history of mankind. Among the wide variety of artifacts, tools occupied an important place from the very beginning and, somewhat later, instruments. The development of society has always been accompanied by the need to increase the capabilities of these artifacts and their complications. All artifacts of this kind are extrasomatic organs — addition to bodily and mental organs — they are tools created to increase the ability to solve certain problems. With the development of technology, their capabilities have become so great that the question has arisen whether they exceed the capabilities of the human brain. This question is especially relevant for these kinds of tools that are created to assist
the brain — self-learning computer programs of artificial intelligence. To understand this, one needs to turn to the origins of science, back to the day when the foundations of methodology and general principles for obtaining a mental product were laid. This result has a peculiarity: it is often perceived anthropomorphically, transferring
the properties of the experimenter to the result of his activity. This is especially true for complex devices and instruments. The article shows the nature of the relationship between a person and an instrument as his artificial extrasomatic organ.

История артефактов-произведенных человеком предметов-так же велика, как и история человечества. Среди большого разнообразия артефактов важное место с самого начала занимали инструменты и несколько позже-приборы. Развитие социума всегда сопровождалось и сопровождается необходимостью увеличения возможностей этих артефактов и их усложнением. Все артефакты подобного рода-это экстрасоматические органы, дополнение к органам телесным и умственным, это инструменты, созданные для повышения способности решать определенные проблемы. С развитием технологий их возможности стали настолько большими, что возник вопрос, превышают ли они возможности человеческого мозга. Особенно этот вопрос актуален для такой разновидности инструментов, которые созданы для помощи мозгу,-обучающихся компьютерных программ искусственного интеллекта. Чтобы понять это, нужно обратиться к истокам науки, когда закладывались основы методологии и общие принципы получения умственного продукта. Этот результат имеет особенность-он часто воспринимается антропоморфно, перенося свойства экспериментатора на результат его деятельности. Это особенно актуально для сложных приборов и инструментов. В статье показана природа взаимоотношений человека и инструмента как его искусственного экстрасоматического органа.

Purpose of the work. To reveal the significance of myths and legends as the basis of general artistic principles in comprehending the reality of V. d'Indy. Explore "myth-thinking" in creativity, as a method of perceiving a man of his destiny and his place in history through the prism of the centuries-old cultural experience. Methodology. The research is based on a comprehensive approach (in the consideration of the musical, poetic and literary-critical activities of V. d'Indy). Structural, analytical-comparative (in representation`s forms of the myth`s interpretation and the musical interpretations) methods are used. The method of deductive-inductive is used to specify the phenomena and processes considered in the work. The scientific novelty consists in studying the semantics of mythological plots, their ontological and axiological characteristics. Conclusion. The constitution of the content of the symphonic works of V. d'Indy, appealing to the mythopoetic images, propagates the spiritual values of humanity that, at the same time, appear to be important moral and ethical concepts of the artist's outlook, namely: faith, hope and love.
