ABSTRACT
This  project work focused on impact of quality control of patients file by health record officers in Parklane Hospital Enugu. The objectives aimed are ascertaining the impact of quality control of patient file by health record officers in a health care delivery. Finding out the challenges confronting health record officers and to determine factors responsible for the challenges associated with health record officers as well as finding out possible means by which these factors can be eradicated. A simple random sampling techniques was used to determine the population of 1230 with a sample size of 100 .A descriptive survey design was used for this study. Data collected were presented in tables and analyzed using simple percentage tables which chi-sqaure was used to test the hypothesis . From the analysis, it was deduced that quality control of patients file enhances qualitative health care delivery.  Also its deduced that misfiling, missing case folder poor documentation were the challenges facing health record department. Factors responsible for these challenges were attitude of the health records personnel, towards work, inadequate training of health records personnel and non-responsiveness of hospital management towards the needs of the health records department. From findings, shows that 68% of respondents agreed that health records officers maka impact in quality control of patient file. Also 93% of respondents agreed that there are certain challenges facing health record management. From findings, the following recommendations were made, employment of health  records professional, adopting adequate tracer system and proper funding of health record department.

Juvenile delinquency among students has become a feature of all school system. It is an enduring and recurring social phenomenon among school going children. Juvenile delinquency have manifested in various forms. In our schools, different types of young offenders are abound. This research study investigates problems of Juvenile delinquency in Junior Secondary Schools in Abaji Area Council of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Population of the study comprises of the Thirty (30) UBE Junior Secondary School in Abaji Area Council out of which a sample that consisted of Five (5) schools and Eighty (80) respondents (teachers and students) were selected by stratified random sampling techniques. A modified Four (4) point like scale ratings questionnaires were used for data collection and the data collected were analysed using mean scores. Findings revealed lateness to school, truancy, sexual misbehaviour, weapon carrying, disruption of learning activities and declining academic standards were the problems of Juvenile delinquency.
Recommendations proffered include parents should ensure children proper upbringing, provision of effective counselling services, intensified moral and religious instruction and censorship of films and pictured for public viewing.

This research work is to look into the Problems of Girl-Child Education; a Case Study of Abaji Area Council of FCT – Abuja and to proffer some possible solutions or suggestions to these problems. Hence, the researcher suggested some remedies for the improvement of the problems of girl child education in Abaji Area Council.

This study is concern with an investigation into challenges and prospects of inclusive education in FCT Abuja. Inclusive education and special education are based on different philosophies and provide alternative views of education for children with special educational needs and disabilities. It’s concerned again with the prospects despites the challenges involved in the processes, methods, and procedures in order to allow for every child partaking the spheres of learning despite varieties of the conditions of the different categories of inclusive needs individuals of the globe.
The study has therefore permeated itself with the background to the study, objective as well as significance, scope of the study. Literature review of the related issues was part of its theoretical framework as accompanied by the impact on the practices, delivery and provision. Suggestions and recommendation were given, for exact appropriate and expected inclusive education practices and provisions to learners. Development of inclusive special education aims to provide a vision and guidelines for policies, procedures and teaching strategies that will facilitate the provision of effective education for all children with special educational needs and disabilities.

ObjectiveTo assess school age cognitive and achievement outcomes after prenatal cocaine exposure, controlling for confounding drug and environmental factors.Study designAt 9 years, 371 children (192 cocaine exposure, CE; 179 non-exposure, NCE) were assessed for IQ and school achievement in a longitudinal, prospective study from birth. An extensive number of confounding variables were controlled, including quality of caregiving environment, polydrug exposure, lead, iron deficiency anemia (IDA), and foster/adoptive care.ResultsCE predicted poorer Perceptual Reasoning IQ with a linear relationship of the concentration of the cocaine metabolite, benzoylecgonine, to degree of impairment. Effects were mediated through birth head circumference, indicating a relationship with fetal brain growth. Negative effects of alcohol, lead, and marijuana exposure and positive effects of home environment were additive. Children with CE in foster/adoptive care had better home environments and lower lead levels. School achievement was not affected.ConclusionsThere were persistent teratologic effects of CE on specific cognitive functions and additive effects of alcohol, lead, marijuana, IDA, and home environment. Documenting environmental factors in behavioral teratology studies is important because in this sample, CE was associated with better home environments and lower environmental risk for a substantial number of children.
