The nudibranch gastropod genus Aeolidiella Bergh, 1867 has been found to be polyphyletic. It holds an unnamed clade that was named Bulbaeolidia Carmona, Pola, Gosliner & Cervera, 2013. This genus is composed by four species, two of them unnamed: Bulbae-olidia alba, from Japan, Malaysia and Philippines, Bulbaeolidia japonica, from Japan, Bul-baeolidia sp. B, from Hawaii, and Bulbaeolidia sp. A, from Brazil. Bulbaeolidia was described in the context of a molecular phylogeny, thus, no " taxonomic action " regarding to the unnamed species was taken, leaving the work incomplete, and the 50 % of the members of Bulbaeolidia undescribed. In this paper we describe the Western Atlantic member of the genus Bulbaeolidia and a Pacific species from Galapagos, both cryptic with Bul-baeolidia alba (Risbec, 1929).

Hermaea bifida (Montagu, 1815) is the most widespread of the species of Hermaea Lovén, 1844 known in the Eastern Atlantic. Its distribution ranges from Sweden to Spain and the Mediterranean Sea. In Europe, any translucent Hermaeidae with red pigmentation in the digestive and auriculate rhinophores is usually determined as H. bifida. A new species of the genus from the north of Spain, cryptic with H. bifida, and traditionally determined as such, is described in this paper. This new species is characterized by a typical pattern of red bands, the digestive gland inside the cerata not forked distally, and stylet-shaped teeth, lacking lateral expansions. In addition, the amplitude of the distribution of H. bifida is discussed , in the context of the disruption caused by the discovery of the new species from the north of Spain.
RESUMEN Hermaea bifida (Montagu, 1815) es la especie más común de Hermaea Lovén, 1844 conocida en el Atlántico Este. Su distribución abarca desde Suecia hasta España y el mar Mediterráneo. En Europa, cualquier Hermaeidae translúcido con pigmentación rojiza en el digestivo y rinóforos auriculados, es habitualmente determinada como H. bifida. En este artículo se describe una especie nueva de Hermaea del norte de España, críptica con H. bi-fida, y tradicionalmente confundida con la misma. Dicha especie se caracteriza por su pa-trón típico de bandas rojas, el digestivo en el interior de los ceratas, que no se bifurca en el 125 extremo distal, y por presentar dientes radulares en forma de estilete sin expansiones late-rales. Adicionalmente la amplitud de la distribución de H. bifida es discutida en el con-texto de la disrupción causada por el descubrimiento de esta nueva especie en el norte de España.

The coast of northern Chile has been sparsely studied in regards to its invertebrate fauna, with just a few works reviewing the distribution of local mollusks. This work presents a survey of the shallow water heterobranch sea slugs currently occurring around the port of Caldera (27 S), in the Regió n de Atacama, northern Chile.
