moreAt this time, Indonesia experienced multiple nutritional problems, namely the problem of malnutrition and over nutrition. One study conducted by Fanny, et al (2010) based on RISKESDAS 2007 showed that the number of high school students PGRI Maros (N = 523), which is classified as emaciation (wasting) 34.5% 9.7% consists of thin levels of severe malnutrition, 24.8 % thin light levels, whereas only 0.9% classified as obese. Objective : to determine the relation of nutritional status based on BMI/U, and TB/U or height/age, with physical activity student girls Senior high school 1 Maros, regency Maros in 2012. Methods : This study was a cross sectional study design. The study population of 349 with 130 samples and sampling techniques by purposive sampling.Results : Suggests that the association of physical activity on a holiday with nutritional status (TB / U) students have value (p = 0.50) then p> 0.05, the relationship of physical activity into the school day with nutritional status (TB / U) students have value (p = 0.16) then p> 0.05, it was concluded that there was no significant association of physical activity in the school holidays and the nutritional status of students. This result also shows the relationship of physical activity on a holiday with nutritional status (BMI / U) students have value (p = 0.083) then p> 0.05, the relationship of physical activity into the school day with nutritional status (BMI / U) students have value (p = 0.326) then p> 0.05, it was concluded that there was no significant association of physical activity in the school holidays and nutritional status (BMI / U) students. Conclusion : In order for the government and the community can work together in tackling the growing problem of nutrition in the improved nutrition programs, and the provision of public facilities that are accessible sports all segments of society.
