This paper attempts to theorize the leadership qualities of both Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Jawaharlal Nehru by making a discourse analysis of their official correspondence, in which almost seventeen letters were exchanged from 18 January 1938 to 16 December 1939, in the era of struggle for decolonization. This correspondence has already been discussed by many historians at micro-level and we have discussed it for the first time at macro-level. Much has been written on the charismatic personalities of both the prominent leaders of the freedom movement in the Colonial period but the proposed area of research has not gained its deserved attention. After the Elections of 1937 and formation of the Congress Ministries, all the efforts of Jinnah to form a coalition government were spurned by the Congress. During his speech at Calcutta, Jinnah proposed to Jawaharlal Nehru for the negotiation on the Communal issue. Nehru immediately responded and the first round of their correspondence was started. Unfortunately, Nehru was not fully aware of the gravity of the situation regarding the political concerns of Muslim with the Communal Question; and the points of disputes with Muslim League. During this correspondence, Nehru formulated the Fourteen Points, 1938, by drawing on Jinnah's letters. These points couldn't get a nod by Jinnah, because Nehru had mapped them out without actually consulting Jinnah. The condescending attitude of Nehru was disapproved of by Jinnah. Partition of India has largely been covered by thick layers of deliberate untruths to construct communal narratives
demonising Muslims.
Not many people know that a majority of Muslims did not approve of the idea and large numbers of them actually opposed it. On March 24, 1940 (not March 23 rd as commonly reported), the All-India Muslim League passed the Pakistan Resolution demanding a separate homeland for Muslims. In 1947, on the basis of the Two-Nation Theory, India was partitioned. Partition resulted in human suffering and destroyed peace in South Asia. The Two-Nation Theory, the Pakistan Resolution and the partition of India were all brainchildren of the rulers of India. Consider this: had the Muslim League (under the leadership of Mr. Jinnah) promoted the Two-Nation Theory, the Resolution or partition without consent from the rulers, he and his lieutenants would have been imprisoned on charges of inciting treason or inflaming hatred and communalism. Furthermore, had Mr. Jinnah's policies not been in line with the ruler's schemes, they would not have accepted him as the sole leader of the Muslim community; some other Muslim leader would have been given Jinnah's slot. Because Mr. Jinnah's policies were in line with the British agenda, not a single Muslim leader of any other political party (including Allama Mashriqi and his Khaksar Movement in British India)

Freedom at midnight put some people in a spot – those Muslims who chose to stay back in India and did not opt for Pakistan. Pakistan was always conceived as a nation that would be created in areas where Muslims were in a majority in undivided India i.e., the north-western portion and a part of the eastern portion. It was difficult to visualize how all of India’s Muslims would be accommodated there because the reality was that Muslims were and are found in every nook and corner in this country. How then was Pakistan going to fulfill its purpose? It clearly could not. Recognizing this and recognizing the danger to those Muslims who could not go to the ‘promised land’, many Muslim leaders opposed the creation of Pakistan. Muslims against Partition by Shamsul Islam (Pharos Media, 2015) is their story. It details how such leaders were in effect betrayed after having striving unreservedly for a united India.

Quaid-i-Azam Library is basically a group of 11 libraries that are working under the flagship of the University of Gujrat, Gujrat, Pakistan. This research analyzes the role of Quaid-i-Azam Library in the development of faculty and students. It provides the basic information to its user to understand the amazeballs role of this library. Especially, it acmes the role of the library during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most historians have painted Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mahatma Gandhi as charismatic leaders in the history of South Asia who worked for the freedom of India. Because of their services both of them are regarded as 'father of their Nations', Pakistan and India respectively. In the academia of Indo-Pakistan, their mutual relations are accredited as two adversaries or rivals but these are biased studies and need to revisit with a fresh look. In this paper, an attempt is made to highlight the relationship of Jinnah with Gandhi in their early phase of political struggle. The paper argues that Jinnah and Gandhi had great regards for each other and worked as a team for the liberation of their motherland-India. There are several documents and archival material that show that Jinnah had immense respect for Mr. Gandhi as a human being and politician. Their differences which developed in the last phase or later, are twisted in a way that blurred their services for the freedom struggle of India. Therefore, it is important to understand the dynamics of Gandhi-Jinnah relations in the early phase of their struggle which lasted from 1906 to 1920. During this period Jinnah was a member of the All-India Congress Party.. The paper argues that Jinnah and Gandhi had great regards for each other and worked as a team for the liberation of their motherland-India.

This is an analysis of Jinnah-Nehru's leadership and about their emergence as charismatic political leaders in Colonial and post-Colonial India. Jawaharlal was deeply inspired by the political methods of Gandhi and he followed him as his charismatic leader. Jawaharlal considered Jinnah as an opponent of Gandhi and his methods was not attractive for him. Jinnah believed in the constitutionalism and he rejected the methods of agitation, which was the prime method of the Gandhi's politics. This analysis also deals with the historical events of Indian politics from Nehru Report to the implementation of 'Government of India Act, 1935'. During these years Jawaharlal received the moral up keep of Gandhi in every political hurdle or crises. It also deals with the emergence of Nehru on the horizon of Congress and the Indian politics. Jinnah had to face the crises of division within the Muslim League and later on, it proved a disturbing factor in the Round Table Conferences. He had to face many challenges from his own fellow Muslims. In the response of this attitude, he decided to leave India and the Indian politics. In 1934, after the efforts of many prominent Muslims, he came back in India after his self-exile in England and decided to take part in the future elections. He had to face the challenging task of reorganization of Muslim League and the upcoming Elections of 1937. Moreover, this deals with the Hindu-Muslim problems, especially, with the role of charismatic leadership of Jinnah, Gandhi and Nehru.
