This project is about the design and implementation of a personal computer (PC) based electronic billing system. The program is designed to run on any computer. An implementation using visual basic was pursued. The application is used to calculate accurately the amount paid for electric power to be consumed by residential or commercial buildings which is more economical compared to the electromechanical devices which calculate consumption before billing.

The controversial, influential themes of often high-art, yet low-budget films such as Cat People (1942) and The Naked Kiss (1964) got their freedom from the long line of less quality, but just as controversial exploitation films like Maniac (1934), which got away with their work by being made with little funds and no studio control. Works like the exploitation movies of the thirties and forties were the pathway to controversial films that took themselves more seriously. These films, in turn, changed the Hollywood system for the better.

He worked briefly in Hollywood before coming back to Philadelphia where he continued to work until his early death. His short stories and novels have been adapted by filmmakers around the world yet Goodis himself lived in relative obscurity.
