A touch goes beyond physical and forges a connect that is more on an emotional and spiritual level. And yet, though something as remote as a rainbow can touch you, sometimes even the most intimate physical experiences can leave you untouched! Touch is one of the most essential elements of human development, a method of communication, a critical component of health and growth of infants, and a powerful healing force. Earliest forms of communication depict our first language, the language of touch, as the essence of life. Touch is one of the first ways parents and babies communicate. Through touch, a baby learns to enjoy the comfort and security of loving and being loved. The primacy of touch in infancy is tied to touch's being the most mature sensory system for the first several months of life. The effects of touch deficiencies can have lifelong serious negative ramifications.

Higher education System of now a days has become a challenging task for present educators. There is increased emotional, physical, and mental stress in the educational institutions, defined as burnout. Although employee Burnout have been largely researched over the past years in an extensive diversity of sectors, from health care to universities but the existing literature had not scrutinized much on the Job Burnout of Faculty members teaching in Private Universities. Maslach Burnout Inventory has been used to measure level of Job Burnout in the present study. The findings of the study shows no significant difference of faculty members on the basis of Gender while a significant difference was observed on the basis of Experience, Qualification & Designation on three variables of Job Burnout i.e EE, DEP & PA/ Efficacy. Such findings can act as a guiding factor for Management of Higher Educational Institutions so as to diminish Job Burnout and to enhance professional and personal well being of faculty in large.

Tourism industry in India is one of the most appealing industries in the country and contributes substantially in the socio-economic development of the country. Tourism is not only acknowledged as a leisure activity but to explore the new land, new adventure or search of knowledge of historical and cultural heritage of any place. The main objective of the research paper is to propagate, Uttarakhand state has an incredible potential to attract domestic and foreign tourists because of its historical background, cultural uniqueness and spiritual heritage attractions. As in the present scenario, the tourism industry of the state is flourishing more than an economic activity and has become a way towards adventure, leisure, knowledge, contentment and spiritualism. So it is the need of the hour to conserve and preserve those heritage treasure products that not only contribute in generating revenue but also proving an asset to the state. The study will analyse the significance of historical and cultural background of ancient destinations and their impact on the tourists arrivals and generation of revenue .Therefore it is a sincere effort to throw light to conserve heritage sites and their preservation or makeover will prove fruitful not only economically but also in preserving historical and cultural heritage of the state.

Zusammenfassung Im vorliegenden Artikel wird der Neologismus Begriff anhand der sprachwissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen genauer behandelt. Unter diesen Untersuchungen wird vor allem die lexikographische Analyse gemeint. Das Ziel erwähnter Analyse ist das Verfassen des Neologismenwörterbuchs, das die für die Benutzer und Lerner deutscher Sprache einen großen Beitrag ausmachen sollte. The main attention is drawn into lexicographical analysis and preparing dictionaries assigned neologisms in German. The main purpose of this type of analyze is creating of dictionary dedicated neologisms, which sould be a useful tool for learner of German and German speaking persons as well.

Women is the center figure for the health & welfare of the family. In the present study a total of 90 rural women were selected by stratified random technique, equal distribution existed between working groups i.e.30 women in age group >35-40, >40-45 and >45-50 years respectively.  The nutritional status was assessed with the help of anthropometry, BMI, food intake by one day dietary recall methodandthe hematological assessment was carried out to find out the prevalence of anaemia among the selected groups.  Anthropometry measurement showed that the range of Height (cm) 149to150, Weight (Kg) 42-43, MAC 20-22 and BMI 18-19.Food intakes pattern revealed that they consumed less amount of foods than the balanced diet except for pulses in high age group recorded 64 gm , roots & tubers and other vegetables consumption is more in young group 77 gm and 80 gm respectively and fats & oils consumption reported more in age group >35-40 years &>40-45 years ranging 50 to 51gm. Significant difference noted only for roots & tubersThe nutrient intake registered deficit in the consumption of energy, protein and iron ranging 1241 to 1668.2 (Kcal); 30.8 to 48.4(gm); 12 to 17 (m.6g) respectively whereas fat, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin C were recorded more than the recommended dietary allowances. Significant difference noted only for protein and iron. Blood profiles showed range of PCV 39.60 to 49%; Hb8.40 to 9 gm; RBC 4.60 to 4.70 m/mm3; MCV 84.71 to 104.60fl, MCH 18.26 to 19.42pg and MCHC 19.96 to 20.34 respectively. On the bases of degree of anemia showed that the prevalence of anaemia observed and majority women suffered with moderate anaemia.

In the Indian modern country is fast emerging as a global power but for half of its population, the women across the country, struggle to live life with dignity continues. Women, irrespective of their class, caste and educational status, are not safe In the modern society women have been the victims of exploitations since long time in different fields in their life both physically, socially, mentally and economically. There are several causes of sexual as well as moral abuse which are very often highlighted by the media in Indian modern society, and a lot of those also remain unexplored. Although, such violence against women, sexual harassment, and exploitation to women is not of recent origin, its trace is found in the history of ancient India. Women are facing problems in every sphere of life whether employment, access to health care or property rights. India is fast developing but women's in India continue to be discriminated.

Intestacy is of two kinds – total or partial. A man may die partly intestate and partly testate, e.g. where the will contains several bequests to several legatees, but there is no disposition of the residue, he dies intestate as regards the residue. The word intestate is defined in sec 55 of the Administration of Estate Act  ‘Intestate includes a person who leaves a will but dies intestate as to some beneficial interest in his real or personal estate.’

In the 7th and 6th centuries BCE Lumbini located in the Tarai region in the southern part of Nepal, was a beautiful pleasure garden collectively maintained by the Sakyas of Kapilvastu and the Koliyas of Devadaha or Ramagrama. Tilaurakot the capital city of Sakyas, lies in the Twenty-eight kilometers west of Lumbini and Devadaha, the capital of the Koliyas is 38 kilometers east of Lumbini. Pali literature describes Lumbini as a pradimoksha-vana blessed with blooming Sal trees and masses of beautiful flowers and as a place where bees of five colours hum the sweet warbling of various birds and other natural scenery in Lumbini was compared to the Chittalata grave of Indra;s paradise in heaven. When Buddha was lying down on the deathbed at the age of eighty in Kushinagar his disciples, monks and nuns surrounded him. On this occasion, he advised with feeling of holy reverence and awe.The place where the Tathagata was born, (Lumbini grove).

Environment ethics is a critical study of the normative issues and principles relevant to the relationship between human and natural world. In this article I tried to find that on what ethical basis should we decide how to deal with nature . The main concern is that to which inherent value can be ascribed to things that are not human, including animals, vegetation, and even land .The integrated efforts are to be put so as to examine the interrelated components of environment system . Environmental ethics has much to contribute to the solution of global environmental problems  and  raise awareness about environmental problems . Human have a duty to act as benign stewards of the earth.

The origin of cricket is unknown as there are many beliefs regarding the etymology of the word. Some people believe it to be originated from a French word 'Crequet1', meaning a Club while others think it to be derived from an English word 'Crycc'. , which means “stick,” and, in its rude form, resembled the 13th century game known as club-ball.  Cricket evolved in England in the 18th century, mainly because of the interest of great landowners who tried their skills on a field of play with their tenants and the local peasantry. Records show that teams from Kent and London played with each other in 1719, and that Kent and Sussex met in 1728.

The “Green Gold” of the 21st Century and commonly known as “Poor man’s timber” bamboo played a significant role in human society since time immemorial and today it contributes to the subsistence needs of over a billion people worldwide. It has been traditionally used as fuel, food, for rural housing and shelter, fencing, tools, and various other purposes. In modern days, it is being used as industrial raw material for pulp and paper, construction and engineering materials, panel products, etc. Bamboo which can be grown easily, is much faster in growth than any know tree, and is eco-friendly and adaptable to various locality factors, is now becoming the most promising wood substitute.

The conception of Uniform Civil Code in India is a term mentioning to an primary Civil Law Code. The Uniform Civil Code brings the idea of the same set of civil rules for the citizens irrespective of their religion, caste, creed etc. Civil law administers the matters relating to marriage, adoption, inheritance, succession and so on. India has adopted the concept of secularism and thus  such matters of the citizens are still governed by the personal laws of their respective group of peoples. It’s the mandate upon the state as a directive principle of state policy to propagate a Uniform Civil Code for the whole country. But even after 67 years of independence, it is just a distant vision leading to various doubts in the illumination of personal laws.

पर्यावरण प्रदूषण की समस्या आज के सम्पूर्ण विश्व की एक विराट समस्या है। न केवल भारत जैसे विकासशील राष्ट्र वरन समस्त विकसित राष्ट्र भी पर्यावरण प्रदूषण के दुष्प्रभावों से त्रस्त हैं। पर्यावरण प्रदूषण वास्तव में विकास तथा जनसंख्या वृद्धि का सह-प्रभाव है। विकास की अंधाधुंध दौड़ में प्राकृतिक साधनों के उपयोग करने के लिए मानव प्रकृति से छेड़छाड़ कर रहा है, तथा जनसंख्या वृद्धि प्रकृति के इस दोहन को और भी अधिक बढ़ा देती है, जिसके फलस्वरूप पारिस्थितिकी संतुलन गड़बड़ा गया है। जीव-जन्तु व वनस्पति की अनेक प्रजाति विलुप्त हो चुकी है, जबकि अन्य अनेक प्रजातियों का अस्तित्व खतरे में है। प्रकाश, शोर व प्रदूषण के कारण जीव-जन्तुओं की दिनचर्या पर कुप्रभाव पड़ रहा है। यहाँ तक की उनकी प्रजनन क्षमता में परिवर्तन आ रहा है तथा प्राकृतिक संतुलन बिगड़ रहा है। परिणामतः वैश्विक स्तर पर पर्यावरण प्रदूषण की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई हैं जिसके शीघ्रतिशीघ्र निराकरण की आवश्यकता है।

Punjab hasthe most fertile land for agriculture activities in India and ideal for grown wheat, rice, sugar cane, fruits and vegetables. Punjab is, also called the "Granary of India" or "India's bread-basket."It produces 4% of India's wheat and 15% of India's rice.  Thus the state is putting great contribution in the development of the country as well as to fill the food basket. But a common practice repeated by majority of the farmers is burning of residue came out from the crops. This practice of residue burning has become one of the major reason of air pollution particularly during harvesting season and has major direct and indirect on the life of living beings, biodiversity and environment in the country. The same time it adversely affects the air quality, leads to nutrient loss, degrade soil properties and cause waste of residue that has now considered tremendous resource worldwide.

The processes that we now think of as “globalization” were central to the environmental cause well before the term “globalization” came into its current usage. Global environmental concerns were born out of the recognition that ecological processes do not always respect national boundaries and that environmental problems often have impacts beyond borders; sometimes globally. Connected to this was the notion that the ability of humans to act and think at a global scale also brings with it a new dimension of global responsibility—not only to planetary resources but also to planetary fairness.

According to Webster's Dictionary, knowledge is "the fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained through experience or association". Philosophers have debated over the meaning of knowledge for decades of years, the answer to which still remains a debate. They commonly have divided knowledge into three types:  personal knowledge, procedural knowledge, and propositional knowledge.

Male and Female children become Masculine and Feminine, respectively, at a very early age.  By the time they are four or five, for example, girls and boys have typically come to prefer activities defined by their culture as appropriate for their gender and also prefer same sex peers.  This acquisition of sex-appropriate behaviors, skills, attitudes, preferences etc., is referred to as the process of ‘Gender typing’.  There are many theories of gender typing.  The most influential theories, namely, Psychoanalytic theory, Social learning theory, Cognitive developmental theory and Gender schema theory form part of this paper.

Customer relationship management (CRM) is a term that refers to practices, strategies and technologies that companies use to manage and analyze customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, with the goal of improving business relationships with customers, assisting in customer retention and driving sales growth. CRM systems are designed to compile information on customers across different channels -- or points of contact between the customer and the company -- which could include the company's website, telephone, live chat, direct mail, marketing materials and social media. CRM systems can also give customer-facing staff detailed information on customers' personal information, purchase history, buying preferences and concerns.  The new breed of customers is more aware and informed expecting to be served anytime, anywhere amid an endless variety of products and service channel options. They demand consistent experience across all channels, along with more control over the buying process, with a call for more personalized service, relevant messaging and offerings, and greater variety and value for money. The term CRM has many different interpretations. It is important to recognize that CRM is not just a technology but a set of capabilities, processes, strategies and technologies to manage end-to-end customer relationship – CRM.

Environment as also civilization are threatened by environmental pollution. There are different types of pollution in the world and one of them is plastic pollution. Plastic pollution increases in geometric rate and now it is a big challenge for civilization. Plastic is cheap, easily applicable, every where available, easy to use, easy to expel, so it is popular. But plastic pollution is very harmful to the environment. In this situation awareness towards plastic pollution is an important issue. If we have some awareness then the part of the problem may be reduced. If we do not aware in right time then in future the plastic totally engulf the human civilization and then we have no way to escape from the problem. If future generations are aware about plastic pollution then the problem somehow will reduce in future. So researcher in his study tries to find out how much students are aware about plastic pollution. The researcher conducted the study on 119 school students among them 67 secondary and 52 higher secondary. From the result researcher found that higher secondary student are more aware towards plastic pollution. There have no such difference in awareness between boys and girls towards plastic pollution. Academic achievement has no significant influence in awareness towards plastic pollution of students.

Dying declaration is admissible in evidence being the hearsay evidence. This piece of hearsay evidence is admissible as an exception to the general rule of evidence that hearsay evidence is no evidence in eye of law and it should be discarded as general rule because the evidence in all cases must be direct. It is very important documentary evidence. It is hearsay evidence but even then it is given a lot of weightage in the court proceedings. Under English law, the credence and the relevancy of the dying declaration is admissible only when the person making such declaration is in hopeless condition and expecting imminent death. Under Indian law declaration is relevant even if it is made by a person, who may or may not be under expectation of death, at a time of declaration.

पारिस्थितिकी नारीवादी Ecofeminism सामाजिक एवं राजनीतिक आंदोलन है, जो महिलाओं के दमन एवं शोषण तथा पर्यावरण क्षरण के मध्य एक गहरा सम्बन्ध स्वीकार करता है। पारिस्थितिकी नारीवादी चिन्तकों का मत है कि परिवार एवं समाज में महिलाओं के दमन एवं उनकी अधीनस्थ स्थिति को स्वीकार करने वाली सामाजिक मानसिकता एवं प्रकृति के विनाश को प्रेरित करने वाली सामाजिक मानसिकता व पितृसतात्मक  (Patriarchy) मनोवृत्ति तथा तौर-तरीको के मध्य मजबूत एवं समानान्तर सम्बन्ध है। परिस्थितिकी नारीवाद लैगिंक विभेद, पर्यावरण प्रदूषण, नस्लवाद, रंगभेद, प्रजातिवाद एवं अन्य सामाजिक विषमताओं में गहरा अन्तर्सम्बन्ध स्वीकार करती है।

In the present study an attempt has been made to study about the socioeconomic status (SES) and social awareness of Tiwa (Lalung) people in Morigaon district , Assam. The sample consisted with the 200 randomly selected head of the household from different Developmental Block of Morigaon district. The Socioeconomic Status Scale and Social Awareness Scale were used to collect data. The result shows that maximum number of Tiwa household lives in lower socioeconomic status and Tiwas are more aware towards the education than other factors.

Banjaras are generally of good structure and fair complexion. They are dolicocephalous with oval face, black or brown eyes, long flowing silky hair and straight nose (Iyer. 1928-36, P149- 150). Their prominent nose, long face, projected chin and fair skin colour place them nearer to the people of Northern India, rather than those of the Deccan (Kamala Manohar Rao. P. J950, P. 177-220). Enthoven 'says that though as a class robust and well built, the several divisions of Vanjaris, differ in complexion, the Mathuras being generally fair, the Baids, Mehurunas and Lamghas somewhat duskier and the Charans and the Lambans dark and martial looking (Enthoven R.E. P. 336) . The researcher has made observations of physical characteristics of some of the adult male sample Banjaras in Warangal district.

Rasipuram Krishnaswamy Iyer Narayanswamy (R. K Narayan) was born on October 10, 1906 in Madras. His father was a provincial Headmaster. R K Narayan spent his early childhood with his maternal grandmother Parvathi in Madras. He obtained his bachelor degree from university of Mysore. R K Narayan began his writing career with Swami and Friends in 1935.  R K Narayanan is one of the most famous and widely read Indian novelists. His stories were grounded in a compassionate humanism and celebrated the humour and energy of ordinary life Blotner in her dissertation published in 2005 calls R K Narayan as “deeply religious and confined to Hindu rituals.” In 1989 collection of essays, entitled A Story-Teller’s World Narayanan affirms his all commitment to reproduce in his works the India of culture and also narrative tradition, which has had its origin in the Ramayana and Mahabharata, the ten- thousand –year- old epics of India.

Education as a process is as old as the progression of human race. Knowledge and skills related to processes of fulfilling basic human needs were passed on from one generation to another. Thereafter with the growth of civilization the need of formal education for the development of the individual as well as the society was realized and gradually education was institutionalized. Education has not remained stagnant, but with the passing of time, it has undergone great changes. This article presents an overview of research relating to the neurophysiological effects of yogic breathing techniques called ‘Pranayam’( including Ujjayi, Bhastrika, Kapalbhati and Anuloma Viloma). Recent studies indicate that while the broad outline of neural connections is genetically determined, finer details are subject to change. The efficacy of synaptic transmission and neurotransmitter profile may change, neural connections may proliferate or may show atrophy in response to specific experiences. The practioners of pranayam utilize this neural plasticity to bring about sustained changes in the structure and function of the brain. Methodological challenges in future studies of yogic breathing include choice of control groups, blinding and randomization. Functional MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) has been found to be the best current modality for studying the brain during ‘Pranayama’.

The life insurance industry in India has grown both in terms of number and business as a consequent of economic reforms and setting up of IRDA. The entry of the private players in the life insurance market has not only widened the life insurance market but also has infused competition and structural changes in the life insurance industry. The sector specific growth and the growth of life insurance industry after liberalization have been studied in this paper by utilizing the data on number of offices and their expansion, number of policies issued, first year premium and total premium collected by life insurers over time. The study utilizes the secondary data collected from various sources namely annual reports of IRDAI and annual reports of public and private life insurance companies operating in India and covers the period of thirteen years from 2001-02 to 2013-14. The study concludes that the market share of the public sector insurer had gone down due to the entry of private life insurers but the growth of public sector life insurer is more consistent than that of private sector life insurers.  The North- eastern States of the country seem to be neglected by life insurance industry of India and therefore more efforts should be made to provide life insurance cover to the people of these states.

Human rights as generally perceived are those rights which a person gets by virtue of being human. It is the prevalent notion, even though not widely practiced that these rights are inherent and becomes operative from birth itself. To put it simply, the human rights are the norm that protects and safeguard people everywhere from severe political, legal, and social abuses. These rights exist in morality and in law at the national and international levels. They are addressed primarily to governments, requiring compliance and enforcement.  The main sources of the contemporary conception of human rights are the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (United Nations, 1948) and the many human rights documents and treaties that followed in international organizations such as the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, and the African Union. Enactment in national and international law is one of the ways in which human rights exist.  But it is not completely true for people who insist on the idea, that human rights are deeper, inherent or innate and cannot be conferred rather a person acquire them by virtue of being human. Human Rights though considered as a post world war phenomena i.e., a relatively newer concept but can be plausibly attributed to historical notions of life, liberty and justice.
