Teaching and Learning Using Webquest model

The purpose of this paper is made to describe the pemtingnya perform the learning activities of local history especially in this global era should be able to shield themselves from unfavorable foreign cultures. In this way students can see the reality around him. and also explained about the benefits of Learning Content Management System in Learning Local History which is a new breakthrough. On the utilization history teacher makes designya advance by utilizing the existing facilities within the site itself questgardennya, such as Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion and Credits. These components are the one who will have a role in local history learning activities in the classroom.

This paper focus on the use of the WebQuest methodology in the field of higher education in Humanities, in particular for the subject of the history of architecture and urban planning. The teaching experience developed during the present academic year within the framework of the new Degree in Geography (University of Santiago de Compostela) set out the interest in using the short duration WebQuest model as a strategy to motivate and to improve the learning in the interactive or practical classes of a subject adapted to the EHEA. Through the design of small projects of learning focused on contents of history of architecture and urbanism triying to exceed the easy compilation of information; so that the students use different resources in Internet and can go deeper into questions of urban architecture and the role of the building types in the construction of the town in different historical periods. Outside the usual methodology of working in groups within the WebQuest, as a consequence of the reduced number of students in the subject this experience opted for a personal and independent phase such as the preparation, sharing and explanation of the results of common interactive practise at a later moment.

La Webquest come dispositivo pedagogico –didattico inclusivo

La Web Quest è un dispositivo pedagogico –didattico, basato sul computer, ideato, nel 1995, da Bernie Dodge, professore di tecnologia educativa all'Università di Stato di San Diego. Il paradigma pedagogico di riferimento della webquest è il Costruttivismo che rifiuta l'insegnamento quale processo di trasmissione di informazioni e l'apprendimento quale elaborazione ricettiva e solitaria di dati e considera la formazione un'esperienza contestualizzata e da costruire attivamente, attraverso un processo di integrazione di molteplici occasioni formative.
Sostanzialmente, la Web Quest è un’attività di ricerca, che si avvale di interazioni di tipo relazionale, per consentire agli studenti di ricavare informazioni dal web, mediante un percorso guidato, caratterizzato da domande e/o compiti, prestabiliti dai docenti. Gli studenti, organizzati in gruppo, reperiscono e rielaborano le informazioni, utili alla risoluzione di problemi reali, cioè in situazione, legati a un determinato contesto di esperienza. Durante l’attività, gli studenti sviluppano contemporaneamente le capacità di analisi, sintesi e valutazione e realizzano prodotti, quali ipertesti, guide cartacee, presentazioni in power point, etc..
L’obiettivo primario della webquest  non è quello di fornire ai discenti del sapere codificato, ma di fargli scoprire le specifiche conoscenze di cui ha bisogno, per acquisire altro sapere.
