This article illustrates the use of automatic orchestration techniques, derived from the server application Orchidée, in the work Un posible día, quasi un radiodramma, which I composed between 2010 and 2011. It sheds light on the derivation processes of musical materials at the base of this composition, as well as on different solutions of automatic orchestration, calculated from a brief sample recorded from a tam-tam. The examples are presented in both musical notation and audio format.
