    Readers find this title to be an excellent and creative expansion of the Biblical story of Tamar. Francine Rivers' writing brings the Bible stories to life in a personal and relatable way. However, some reviewers were disappointed with the American pronunciations in the audio book. Overall, readers loved this book and are excited to read more from the author.

      Francine is so gifted and such a gift to the body of Christ. What great detail is added to this story! It just came alive as I listen to the details. Feels like Tamar is now a friend from just next door ❤️

      Barbra Rosenblad is an amazing reader. I've read this before, and know it also from the Bible. Yet, I found myself glued and not able to put it down. I hope she's reading the rest in the series also. What a blessing to hear her read. I love this depiction of what Tamar must have dealt with and pray to be strong and dedicated like she was

      Francine’s writing is like no other Christian fiction. She does an amazing job of creatively & imaginatively bringing the Bible stories to life.

      The book is a solid 10. A solid. However this audio book is a 1 at best. The American pronunciations are torturous, they didn't even try learning the proper one. Tamar is NOT Taymah. Geez.

      Very good! Excellent way to expand the Biblical story of Tamar so that we can understand the emotions and the time period. Another great book by Francine Rivers. Can't wait to start the second book in this series!

      Francine Rivers has always been my best writer since I was a younger teenage girl. I have read the hard copy of this book years ago, many times, and I love this audio copy too. God bless her.
