      Ok so it was an accident that I read this book because for some reason I thought it was gonna be a spooky story about someone in a cabin. I was surprised early on to discover that it was more like a lifetime movie, but I found myself getting engrossed in the story .
      I was sympathetic with the characters and was really into the story until close to the end . The story sorta changed into a men is bad and women are great theme that disappointed me . I think one quote was something along the lines that 50 women’s accounts against one man would be useless.
      So other than the feminist propaganda included in the story it was a pretty decent book. I definitely wouldn’t recommend though

      Started off pretty interesting. But then it veered off into Gone Girl territory, poorly. Everything was neatly, perfectly wrapped up in the end, although not at all plausible or realistic, just a lot of conveniences. Wouldn’t recommend.

      Bravo!!!! This book is well written and suspenseful in every detail! However, it is very sad.. this is a story that should be made into a movie to open awareness. Sexual violence is a terrible thing and too many women are imprisoned as a result of protecting their loved ones.

      WOW!! Just Wow!! I listened to this book in one sitting. It completely captured my attention from start to finish. First book I’ve listened to/read by this author and I’m so glad I came across it. I went through a complete range of emotions while listening. From feelings of complete sadness where I actually to intrigue then to rage all the way to excitement and complete joy!!! And not necessarily in that exact order. The emotions I felt jumped all around depending upon what was taking place in the book. I could also relate to so many different themes in this story. This is a heart wrenching triumphant story!! The main character I could relate to a lot. Regarding her inner strength and resilience. The character la in this story were very well developed and several of them I loved!! This is one story, albeit fictional, that will remain with me always! I HIGHLY recommend this book!

      If you enjoy Twisty edge of your seat suspense, you will most likely enjoy this book. This book held my interest throughout; I did not mind the multiple time lines as it kept the pace going. My only quibble and it is more a comment on the editing was the use of British terms. The editor should have caught this. A woman who grew up in Missouri, lived in New York City and spent her whole life in America would not use the terms: fell pregnant, Paracetamol and whilst. I just found it humorous and immediately had to see if the author was British or American and indeed she is British. Overall I enjoyed the story toward the end it did get a bit convoluted but it was entertaining and kept me wondering what would happen next. Also the one reviewer here who said something about this being about a girl raised by a wolf must have been a different book, that review sort of threw me off.

      Wow just wow amazing suspense, sadness and kept me on my toes. Loved it from beginning to end! It was an unexpected twisted that kept turning. Leaves you wondering what is gonna happen next and I wasn't sure if it would have be a successful event. Usually I can predict what was going on but with all the back and forth I was always behind caught off guard. This is definitely the type of book I enjoy reading the most. If you like to be kept on the edge with thriller unexpected suspense then give this book a go!
