      EASILY one of my top favorite contemp romance reads!! The writing and flow of the story is flawless. The main characters are honest and to the point. I love that nothing was drawn out, everything seemed to happen at a natural, realistic pace. All the narrators were AMAZING!! There was even a song that was SO beautifully sung. That was a first for me. I am so used to song lyrics being read out, described or singing attempts that don't quite hitting the spot.
      This was such a refreshing read with so much emotion, depth, pain, love and passion!

      Reading two stories that are independent and co-dependent is un"reel" if you ask me lol. I completely enjoyed this book from start to finish. I could relate to each character and understand their points even when I didn't agree with them. Bringing awareness to an illness that sadly more people are being diagnosed with is just one of the many topics this book elegantly covers. From hidden stories of black people carved history to forgiveness. My intention to live a more purposeful life has been designated, thank you, Kennedy Ryan :-)
