1. Introduction
IS THERE ANY PERSON in the world who doesn’t love a delicious, creamy, frosty-cold smoothie? Smoothies are the perfect treat—delicious, refreshing, and filling. It’s just an added bonus that they are chock-full of important vitamins, fiber, and phytonutrients, broken down into particles that are the ideal size for your body to absorb and digest. Of course, many of the smoothies available at popular shops and restaurants contain enough sugar to outweigh any benefits from the fruits with which they’re made. Fortunately, smoothies are easy and inexpensive to make and enjoy from the comfort of your own home. In fact, smoothies have become a non-negotiable part of my daily routine. As a result, my skin looks great, even for a nearly-forty man, my once-thinning hair has grown thicker and shinier, and I have a LOT more energy for my work, my family, and my fitness regimen.
