INTRODUCTION
My entry into the raw diet lifestyle was by accident. In spite of the hoopla it generated, I simply saw it as just another fad diet. I lead a busy lifestyle and couldn’t imagine spending a considerable amount of time in the kitchen peeling, straining, chopping, blending and dehydrating fruits and vegetables.
Curiously, I had been suffering from a list of health complaints which I thought were just a normal part of the aging process –sleeplessness, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, middle age weight gain etc. However, I met and became friendly with a doctor who though wasn’t a rawist
was an advocate of whole food consumption. She encouraged me to read as much as possible on the subject. I read books on healing with living food and began to practice what I read by consuming more and more raw meals.
That was three years ago. Now, I can’t remember the last time I got sick. I work with a great deal of energy and sleep like a baby at night. I have a balanced hormone panel, healthier skin, my mind is sound and I feel fantastic all day long. I also
