WTF!? - Bobscott Nine
For all of those who helped warp my mind during this short stay in this twisted realm
MAYAMO
Iwatched in horror as the gargantuan beast lifted Theodore to its mouth. The creature vehemently studied him for a brief moment. I desperately prayed it would find no interest in my life long companion and release him. My prayers were denied as it sank its two squared teeth into Theodore's brown face. It squeezed him, crushing his insides like a bag of grapes. Then it threw his body to the ground like a sack of garbage.
The beast stood ten stories tall. Shaking its head, it released a high pitched screech into the sky. And was that laughter as well? Yes, it was. The savagely cruel beast focused its attention back toward the lower altitudes locking its gaze onto me!
MA-YA-MO!
it cried out pointing directly at me. Madness swirled in the monster's eyes. It was all over for me now. I was rendered helpless by its devastating attack. My legs, probably broken and splintered, were trapped beneath a huge pile of wooden bricks that had cascaded down from a toppled structure.
MA-YA-MO!
it screeched out again and continued its rampage in my direction.
The thing's attention was briefly diverted by a blue convertible that sat stalled in its path. I could see the terror in the driver's eyes as the car was lifted up and flung far out of sight. My heart sank further into my stomach as I heard it crash somewhere far away, the sound marking the end of the monster's distraction.
MA-YA-MOOOO!
How did this happen? Only minutes before I was sitting around enjoying my morning and admiring the world's beauty. Everything in its place. It had been a sunny day, all of the clouds had been swept away, and the air had been sweet. But now the putrid stench of this enormous beast wafted all around me like a tangible thing, and the city lay in complete disarray.
I lay there, hoping against hope that I would not become breakfast. I tried to move my buried legs to no avail. The beast was now close enough for me to see a patch of Theodore's hair still clinging to the side of its face like a spot of mustard from a previously devoured chili dog. Soon there would be red pieces of me dangling off of it as well. Soon, it would all be over for me. I closed my big eyes and awaited the inevitable.
