Factors
Wrinkles are caused by several circumstances, some of which you can influence and some of which you cannot:
Age. As you age, your skin becomes less elastic and weaker. Natural oil production decreases, causing your skin to become dry, old, and wrinkled. The fat in the deeper layers of your skin is lost. The result is sagging, loosened skin with more noticeable wrinkles.
Exposure to ultraviolet (U.V.) light. Early wrinkles are caused by ultraviolet light, which accelerates the normal aging process. U.V. light damages the skin's connective tissues, including collagen and elastin fibers in the deeper layers (dermis). Without the building of connective tissue cells, your skin loses stamina and versatility. As a result,
