    Introduction

    ––––––––

Everyone occasionally feels anger, and while this feeling may be unpleasant or unreasonable, it is nonetheless a normal human emotion. Experts on anger describe it as a basic human emotion that has developed to help us survive and defend ourselves from what we perceive to be wrongdoing.

When our basic human needs (food, shelter, sex, sleep, etc.) are not met or are threatened in some manner, we are more likely to feel frustrated, which might lead to mild anger. Still, many people may be unaware of the drawbacks of harbouring feelings of rage and discontentment over time. A person's growth and development might be stunted by their inability to take advantage of positive opportunities and avoid damaging family conflicts. Constant rage is rarely a desirable emotional state.

Having anger as your default emotion can make you more likely to notice and focus on other causes of frustration. You may set the tone for many aspects of your life based on how you typically feel. It has far-reaching implications for one's
