Business Technology & Analytics

Sambit Tripathi, Ph.D., Assistant Professor                                                                                                                                      Dr. Tripathi's interests lie in two broad themes related to business analytics and big data. The first theme analyzes user-generated content (UGC), a category of big data generated by online platforms, by applying AI/ML methods. The second theme focuses on developing novel AI/ML methodologies to solve business problems. His research has been published in Information System Frontiers and has presented his work at numerous conferences such as ICIS, AMCIS, HICSS, WITS, and INFORMS Data Workshop.

Erica Wagner, Ph.D., Professor                                                                                                                                                              Dr. Wagner’s research interests are organized across three streams. The first stream focuses on the IS life cycle and “making software work” within local organizations. The second stream concerns building theoretical insights about the relationship between technology (including software code) and people. The studies in these two streams extend general or emerging theories by interpreting qualitative research data. The third research stream focuses on higher education, not only as sites for in-depth case research but also as a scholarship area within which to contribute. Her research has been published in a variety of outlets, including MIS Quarterly, The Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information and Organization, Communications of the ACM, and the Journal of Management Studies
