Medium access control (MAC) protocol design plays a crucial role to increase the performance of wireless communications and networks. The channel access mechanism is provided by MAC layer to share the medium by multiple stations. Different types of wireless networks have different design requirements such as throughput, delay, power consumption, fairness, reliability, and network density, therefore, MAC protocol for these networks must satisfy their requirements. In this work, we proposed two multiplexing methods for modern wireless networks: Massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) and power domain non-orthogonal multiple access (PD-NOMA). The first research method namely Massive MIMO uses a massive number of antenna elements to improve both spectral efficiency and energy efficiency. On the other hand, the second research method (PD-NOMA) allows multiple non-orthogonal signals to share the same orthogonal resources by allocating different power level for each station. PD-NOMA has a better spectral efficiency over the orthogonal multiple access methods. A review of previous works regarding the MAC design for different wireless networks is classified based on different categories. The main contribution of this research work is to show the importance of the MAC design with added optimal functionalities to improve the spectral and energy efficiencies of the wireless networks.

This research aims at investigating roughness in asphalt mix, and to address its effects, causes and methods for treating it to provide safe and smooth driving for the drivers and to the roads users in order to reduce accidents, loss of properties and consumption of fuel which reflects on saving financial costs. The research has depended on qualitative research method through reviewing a number of previous studies related to road constructions, since the desired high quality of roads has become priority to the road users and to the environmentalists who seek to reduce air pollution and emission of harmful gases.

Over time, The number of IKMs which continued to increase and were not accompanied by data collection was what ultimately caused problems. The lack of awareness to register a business that is owned is still one of the causes. In fact, this is very important to do. Seeing the above phenomenon makes us aware of the importance of data collection on IKM, especially those in Jepara District, Jepara Regency. This research method uses a qualitative approaches. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and normative analysis. The process of validation and data collection is based on the indocators contained in the querstionnaire. 9 indicators in data collection, namely IKM business actors, Business Permits, Type Of Industry, KBLI, Number Of Workers, Raw Materials, Working Capital, Production Capacity, and Investment. The final result of the activity is a data master document for IKM in Jepara District which is compiled in order to support the smooth implementation of goods / services procurement.

This study aims to discuss the development of feminist interpretation in Indonesia through the existence of Husein Muhammad's thoughts. This research method is qualitative through literature study with the theory of the scientific revolution initiated by Thomas Kuhn through an interpretation approach. The results and discussion of this research include a discussion of Thomas Kuhn's paradigm transition, the dynamics of feminist interpretation in Indonesia, the discourse of feminist interpretation in Indonesia according to Thomas Kuhn's paradigm transition theory, and Husein Muhammad's feminist interpretation. This study concludes that Thomas Kuhn's paradigm shift is used in interpreting feminist topics in Indonesia, which have undergone a paradigmatic transition at various levels. Tafsir Al-Qur'an Indonesia has undergone a paradigmatic transition in the classical, modern, and contemporary era. One of the commentators whose work was mapped out this time was Husein Muhammad who was in the neo-modern or contemporary era. This research is expected to have significant benefits for fans of the study of the Al-Qur'an and gender. This research only raises issues related to one feminist commentator. Then, this study recommends that in the future a more up-to-date understanding of the role of feminist commentators can be generated through a comprehensive study of western thoughts that refers to the literature on the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an in particular.

This study aims to determine the factors that lead to the occurrence of dynastic politics in village leadership in Wantiworo Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews (interviews), observation and document studies. Analysis of the data and informants that have been obtained was carried out qualitatively. The results of research on dynastic politics in village leadership (Study of Wantiworo Village, Kabawo District, Muna Regency) where the most influencing the occurrence of dynastic politics in Wantiworo Village are only two factors, including capital strength (economic), the economic ability of a village head is also a consideration in the nomination . Wealth owned by the village head is the basic capital to achieve a goal or victory. Then the power of the network (the family), the family of the village head does have quite a big influence in the community. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. With a total sample of 44 farmers in North Toto Village. This research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression model analysis. The results showed that the price had a negative and insignificant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase in price can reduce income by 0.237. Land area has a positive and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase in land area can increase income by 0.682. Production costs have a negative and significant effect on the income of rice farmers in North Toto Village. This means that every 1% increase can reduce income by -0.254. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.596, this shows that the percentage of rice farmers' income variation which is explained by the variation of the independent variables, namely price, land area and production costs is 59.6% for the remaining 40.4% influenced by other variables.
