Introduction
It is modern spinning technology. name bobtex is derived from the inventor Bobkowicz. It produces the integrated composite yarn.
Operating principle
It produces multi-component yarn.
1. A
core mono or multi filament making up 1060%and forming the yarn carrier. polymer intermediate layer (20-30%).
Staple
fiber embedded in the intermit layer to provide covering layer and making up (30-60%).
Head- 2 Delivery speed - 600m/min Raw material:- filament, polymer, fiber Count range:- ne 2-30 or tex 30-300
Feed back type:- sliver Type of yarn :- three component yarn (ICS) Yarn characteristics:- high covering power high stiffness evenness Field of uses:- sacks, carpet, industrial woven fabric
Advantages:
High production good package mass up to 50kg.
Cost is low. Proper utilisation of raw material. Production per labour is good.
Drawbacks:
High consumption of energy. High consumption of water. Have to maintain polymer viscosity.
Developments:
Aerodynamic break spinning Elimination of turbine or air vortex for twisting. False twist impart positive twist. Producess 100% staple yarn with axial force twisting. Faster method of production of open-end spinning technology.
