TECH FEST EVENT DETAILS (ME)

RIVER CROSSING
River climbing is an adventurous event in which players compete individually or in teams by covering the distance between the poles through a rope in the limited time interval. The players can be individual or a team competing, completes the challenge before the time limit or beats the time limit of the opponent will be declared as a winner. Rules and Regulation:1. An individual or a team of two members can participate 2. Per individual charges Rs 30/- and team charges Rs 50/3. Time duration 4. Join the event at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injury,etc Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

FUTURE TECHNOLOGY PRESENTATION

In this event the participants have to give a power point presentation on the future technologies which are coming up in the near future. The participant giving the presentation will be judge by the audience and the few faculty member. The participants will be awarded by the different points on the basis of their way to present the presentation. The participant having the highest point at the last will be declared as the winner of the event. Rules and Regulation:1. 2. 3. 4. Participants should reach the given venue for the event on time, late entry will be disqualified from the event. 6. NO on the spot making of presentations will be accepted. Participants are asked to get there work done before the event. 7. The Participant getting the highest marks at the end of the event will be declared as the winner of the event and awarded with the certificate.

AUTO FEST GALLERY (TOUR DE AUTO)

Auto fest gallery is the event in which students will compete against time and against opponents on the basis for their knowledge about the automobile. In this event students will be given some time limit and plane sheet to summarize the main function of an automobile part displayed to them. Rules and Regulations:1. Any number of students can participate in this event 2. Students will be charged Rs 10/- per person 3. Students will be given some time limit of about 2 min max. In this time limit they have to identify the component and to summarize the main function of the component displayed before them. 4. The summary should not be more than 25 words 5. Winner will be declared on the basis of their function and the min. time required by them to complete the challenge. Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

DESIGNING (DESIGN O CAD)

Designing is an event in which students will be given a pre-prepared design of any machine in autocad with the full dimensions. Participants will be asked to prepare same design on the spot with in the given time limit. In this event the passion of students for the designing will be tested. Rules and Regulations:1. One member participation will be held. 2. Participation fee for this event is Rs 20/- per person 3. Participants have to complete the given design with in the time limit. 4. Design given to the students would not be easy it will utilize all the commands which are mostly used in the auto cad software. 5. Design prepared by the participants will be judged by the faculty member any error or mis match of design. Participant will be disqualified. 6. Computers and softwares will be provided by us and any damage to the computer system by any participant will charged with the fine. 7. Participant beating the best time for completing the design will be awarded with certificate and a disk with software of auto cad 2013 Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

COMPARISON
Comparison is the type of marketing event in which students have to show their capability of convincing the person for any item .In this event students will be given some two wheeler bikes and will be provided with details about these vehicles and will be asked to convince any two person among the crowd for buying of the vehicle. Rules and Regulation:1. Any number of member can participate 2. entry fee for this event is Rs 20/- per person 3. Students are not allowed to touch any part of the bikes. Any damage to any part will charged with fine to the students. 4. Students will be given time limit of about 5-10 min for convincing. 5. Winners will be awarded on the basis of the following :(A) Mode of language (B) Confidence in speaking (C) Best marketing skill Participant getting the highest marks will be declared as winner Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

PROJECT GALLERY
Project gallery is the creative event in which students will be given some soft material from which they have to create their own masterpiece in any form (mostly related to engineering) with in certain time limit. Rules and Regulation:1. Any number of members can participate 2. Entry fee for this event will be Rs 30/- per person 3. Students will be given the limited material. NO self-carrying of material will be allowed. 4. Students will be provided with the materials such as :(A) Thermo Cole (B) Cello tapes (C) Paper Pins (D) Pencil, scale, cutter, eraser, etc. 5. Students have to create the item within the time limit. 6. Winner will be declared on the basis of the :(a) Theme of project (b) Presentation (c) Dimensional accuracy (d) Neatness in work Student getting highest marks will be declared as winner. 7. Any kind of mis behavior will not be tolerated Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

ASSEMBLY
Assembly is the event in which individual or the team of two member can participate. In this event participants will be given the machine parts which they have to assemble with in the time limit. Machine for which students have to assemble will be screw jack, different types of valves, etc. The participant or team finishing with the assembly of the design with in the given time limit will declared as a winner. Rules and Regulation:1. Individual member or team of two members can participate 2. Entry fees for individual will be Rs 20/3. Time duration for completing the assembly (2-3 min) 4. Assemblies available as follows :(A) Screw jack assembly (B) Plummer Block (C) Piston cylinder (D) Car wheel 5. Late entries will not be allowed. 6. Any kind of misbehavior will not be tolerated. 7. The winners will awarded with the certificate. Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

POSTER MAKING (POSTER DE PRECEPTION)

Poster making is the imaginative event in which students will be delivered with a story perception on the basis of which they have to create an artistic drawing about what they can imagine by reading the story. Students have to create this poster within the time limit. The main motive of this event is to increase the imaginative power of the students for the fourth coming engineering. Rules and Regulation:1. One member participation should be there. 2. Entry fee for this completion will Rs 30/- per person 3. All the drawing material colors, sheets, etc. will be provided by us. 4. Judging will be done the basis of :(A) Presentation (B) Contents (C) Minimum time taken (D) Perception 5. Late entries will not be allowed. 6. Any kind of misbehavior or any kind of unfair means will result in disqualification the participant. 7. QUIZ
Quiz completion will held among the different teams of two members. In this competition questions will be asked from mainly mechanical engineering as well as general knowledge about the latest inventions in the mechanical engineering .there will be different rounds of quiz competition after which the winning team will declared. Questions will be asked from mainly engineering, latest issues, history, IITs level questions etc. Rules and Regulations:1. Team of two members can only participate 2. Entry fees for members will be Rs 40/- per team 3. There will be different rounds :(A) Round 1 It will be simple round in which teams will be asked 20 questions each regarding the mechanical engg or general knowledge. For every question there will be 4 options. For every correct answer 5 marks will be given and there will be no negative marking in this round. And team getting highest marks will be declared as winner for next round. (B) Round 2 In this round teams which are selected in round 1 will be competing. In this round will be having two types of sets of question rapid fire as well as buzzer round. In rapid fire teams will be asked 30 questions and each question caries 2 marks and there will also be negative marking for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.in rapid fire round no options will be given. Passing of the question will be allowed. In buzzer round teams will be asked 10 questions with negative marking as per discussed in rapid fire round. In buzzer round only mechanical engineering related questions will be asked 4. Any kind of misbehavior will not be tolerated or any unfair means used by teams will be disqualified. 5. Use of mobile phones is prohibited during the quiz competition Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded

HURDLE RIDE
Hurdle ride is the event in which participants have to move from one side of the ground to other side with different hurdles and difficulty given on their way. In this event individual or teams of two members will participate. Competing the rival opponents. There will be lots of difficulty on that way. Participants will be caring a bag on their back with the filled weight. They have to race from one point to other by climbing the ladders and then passing through pit and at last ringing the bell. The winners of this event will be awarded with the bravery trophy as well as a certificate and assured gift hamper on the closing ceremony of the fest. Rules and Regulation:1. Individual or team of two members can participate. 2. Entry fee for individual is Rs 30/- and for team is Rs 60/3. The weight bags which will carried by the participants will carry 5kg weight for boys and 2kg weight for girls. 4. Participants are asked to bring an extra trousers with them as they have to pass through pit. Which may spoil their dress. 5. This event is risky so participate on your own risk. 6. Participants racing against each other caring weight on their back first have to pass over two double sided ladders without touching the ground. Then they have to pass through pit wearing the slippers. Finishing from pit they have to move between the tires and the racing to finish line. 7. Any kind of misbehavior or use of unfair means will not be tolerated. Prize: Participation Certificate will be given to all and winners will be awarded
