Pura Besakih and Mount Agung Indonesia is a small landmass state which is well-known for its vacation industry designed for its gorgeous seashores and many island routes. Indonesias capital Bali has one of the most quiet and peaceful sacred place named the Mother Temple of the Besakih. This is the major temple in Bali, which is regarded as the holiest temple by the people of Indonesia. It is placed on the Mount Agung, that is the Gunung Agung which is considered to be the sacred mountain in island of Bali. The temple is also known as the Pura Besakih. This temple
has an amazing story, a story which shows the almighty of Gods power. Mount Agung is one of the active volcano of the Indonesia. This volcano exploded in year 1963. The explosion was a strong one and the lava flooded down with a great speed so that many places around the mountain were destroyed. But the miracle was of the temple. The lava poured all over but just neglected this Mother Temple of the Besakih by its border. The lava could not harm anything of this holy place. This is famous as the indication of phenomenon, the sign of the God, or such supernatural being. The temple was constructed in 1000 AD, at that time it was an attached temple. The temple has been dedicated to Dragon god the Besakih, dweller of the Mountain Agung. Today the temple is managed by state and national governments. Mount Agung has height above sea level of 3148 meters, and it is in the eastern side of Bali. On the slope of the Mount Agung is the holy temple of Besakih which is some 1000 meters is altitude. Mother of temple is only temple where all the Hindus of the any caste can pray and worship. The three temples of Shiva, Vishnu and the Bhrahma are main temples and there are some eighteen sanctuaries which belong to different regencies as well as cast groups. So all the people of Hindu religion can pray here.
