Better Artists, Better Students, Better People

Experiencing Music at Harrison Academy

Sing or play in a small ensemble. Sing in a chamber music ensemble Sing in an acappella ensemble Instrumentally accompany fellow students Extend your learning Opportunities. Audition for District, Regional, and All-State Choral competitions Audition for Show Choir Audition for Chamber Singers Participate in Musical Theatre Participate in Solo and Ensemble Educational music opportunities available. Private, Suzuki, and Music Wellness lessons are offered to our students and staff. In addition, Music Theory, Aural Theory, Sight Reading, and Master classes are available. Travel with your ensemble. Each year, HCMD travels throughout the United States to participate in musical competitions and festivals. In addition, HCMD performs for many prestigious music conferences.

I believe arts education in music, theater, dance, and the visual arts is one of the most creative ways we have to find the gold that is buried just beneath the surface. They (children) have an enthusiasm for life a spark of creativity, and vivid imaginations that need training training that prepares them to become confident young men and women. Richard W. Riley
