Ms Vitorio had a very natural manner about her in the classroom that resulted in the establishment of an environment that is very conducive to learning. Her lesson planning is excellent. Ms Vitorio is eager to learn new skills and is eager is develop and expand her existing skills Ms Vitorio will be a wonderful addition to any staff she joins.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth): Ms Vitorio's excellent lesson planning and manner with her students demonstrated her very strong commitment to her students and her teaching. She has created a classroom environment that is very conducive to learning. All the students were treated equitably and with respect which was reciprocated by the students. Ms Vitorio created many opportunities for the students to problem solve and make decisions. She also encouraged the students to be critical thinkers. Ms Vitorio ensured all student needs were met.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth): Ms Vitorio has a very strong working relationship with her associate teacher and is working in conjunction with her to establish a strong learning community. Ms Vitorio has volunteered her personal time to work with students who require extra assistance. Ms Vitorio's binder is in excellent order.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth): Ms Vitorio is very eager to grow as a professional. This was demonstrated in the questions she asked about ways to improve her professional practice. Ms Vitorio's reflection are complete and are well done. I would suggest she extend them a little more in order to better inform her professional practice.

She clearly identified the lesson expectations and had a clear understanding of the curriculum content presented. Ms Vitorio's assessment was masterfully matched to her expectations. Ms Vitorio had a clear understanding of the students' prior knowledge and did an excellent job of building upon it during her lesson. The learning environment was well organized and her resources were well chosen and appropriate. Ms Vitorio's teaching/learning strategies were well developed and her consolidation and application tasks were well planned. Ms Vitorio helped the students understand the concepts being taught by making comparisons to real life experiences the students have had.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth): Ms Vitorio planned an introductory activity that had the students thoroughly engaged immediately. Her instructional strategies were very well chosen and met the needs of all the students. Ms Vitorio made excellent use of the SMART board during her lesson. The students were eager to participate as they were given the opportunity to use it as well. Her resources were well chosen, prepared ahead of time and were ready to go when the lesson began. Ms Vitorio's assessment strategies were well chosen, and she is anxious to try a variety of assessment strategies beyond what she has used thus far. The lesson flowed very nicely with excellent pacing and timing.

Comments (Please elaborate on strengths/areas for growth): Ms Vitorio's voice volume and tonality were excellent. The students could hear her clearly and were able to easily understand and follow her clear, concise instructions. Ms Vitorio's questioning techniques were excellent resulting in the students engaging in critical thinking. The classroom environment was very conducive to learning with the students being very eager to participate in the lesson. Ms Vitorio used a variety of management strategies in a very effective manner when minor behaviours occurred.
