Jennifer displayed many natural abilities in the classroom when she first came to our school. She has an obvious passion for teaching and motivating students to be the best that they can be. She is
approachable and willing to take any advice.

Jennifer uses a variety of materials and media. The students thoroughly enjoyed her use of the smart
board in our classroom. Her lesson plans were organized in a logical manner and she always used the
curriculum as a base for planning her lessons. She spent time to assess the student's levels before
beginning a unit.

Jennifer often motivates students through an introductory activity. Students were involved and
motivated to listen through most of her lessons. She used a variety of assessments including the smart
board, conferencing with students and giving feedback to encourage students to continue learning.

Jennifer uses a calm yet audible voice to speak to all children and, in turn, they usually respond to her
in the same way. They respect her calm and caring attitude towards them and know that she cares for
each one of them. She often engages students through using a variety of questioning techniques
which encourage different levels of thinking. She demonstrates an understanding of classroom
management strategies and applies strategies for student conduct. She recognizes and reinforces
appropriate behaviours. It was a pleasure to have Jennifer in our class and the students and I will truly
miss her positive attitude and willingness to help out in any situation.
