The 11th cohort of the Seychelles National Youth Assembly met on the 16th of March for their induction into their new positions as representatives of their district and educational establishment. The event was coordinated by Ms Jeanetta Ali, led by Ms Louisa Waye-hive, deputy clerk of the Seychelles National Assembly and assisted by the Speaker of the 10th cohort of the Seychelles National Youth Assembly, Mr Ziggy Adam. The induction involved formal introduction of each representative and an explanation of the rules and regulation of the Seychelles National Youth Assembly. This was then followed by an election of the office bearers Speaker, Clerk and Deputy Clerk. There were morning and the disparity of price depending on bus nominations followed by campaigning for the drivers. The motion was voted upon and the motion was position. The election results were as followed: not approved by the youth assembly. This was followed by closing remarks and applaud for the organisers, Ms Speaker: Angelique Pouponneau of Bel Ombre Waye-hive, Mr Adam and the prospective members of Deputy Speaker: Nissa Payet of SALS the Seychelles national youth Assembly. She is a very motivated person ready to face problems and find solutions. For my own course I could gain more confidence, experience and the satisfaction of helping out youths in my district!
