    Offering placed on the communion rail during Holy Communion is used to help those
    in need in our church and the community.

    Canned Food Sunday, May 11

    - The following items are currently needed: canned meat
    (no tuna) and canned fruit. Please remember all items must be new and unopened. Thank
    you for your continued support of this ministry.

    Moving Forward (Widows Ministry) will meet tomorrow at 11:00 am in Fellowship Hall.
    We will be making cards. Please bring a bag lunch. If you have any questions, please contact
    Linda Hughes.

    MODELs (Mostly Older Debutantes Eating Lunch) will meet at 12:30 pm on May 15

    at
    Red Rhino, 618 S. Pine Ave. This is strictly a social activity for all the women of our
    Church. We meet at various restaurants in the area & have a fun time! If you plan to attend,
    please email your reservation to dhumcvol@yahoo.com or call the office by May 13

    . Each
    month we collect a dollar, from each person attending, which is donated to a charity at the
    end of the year.

    UMW - Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 20
    th
    has been cancelled.
    2014 Annual Conference Bishops Offering - The offering will strengthen efforts to en-
    gage young adults in the mission of God & Develop leadership skills both here & in Africa.
    Half of the donations will go toward scholarships for students at Africa University in Zimba-
    bwe & half will help launch a new intern program for young adults willing to serve in select-
    ed communities in Florida. We will receive an offering June 8 as a participation in this ex-
    pression of Gods mission. Thank you for your support of our efforts to engage the next gen-
    eration in the mission of God & to develop leaders who have a heart for service & will make
