Objective
To become a dedicated educator committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating,
encouraging and supportive for all students at the elementary school level.
Currently looking for a full time position in the field of Education for the Fall of 2015.


Work Experience
Substitute Teaching November 2012- Current
Part time as a substitute teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. I manage classrooms of
20-30 students and follow through with teacher lesson plans in the absence of the lead instructor
Sunday School Teacher August 2012- current
Assisted in the education of 13 Catholic 2

and 5
th
graders under the direction of a lead teacher. Assisted
in First Reconciliation in December 2012. This work was in St. Marys Parish in Oxford, Ohio.
Student Teaching January 2011- June 2011
Created and executed lesson plans following Virginia SOLs under the direction of a lead teacher. Assisted
in administration of tests, daily lessons and managing the classroom during the day.
FEA Tutor August 2009- June 2011
Tutored children individually and in small groups to help them with difficult subjects.
Figure Skating Coach February 2008- June 2011
Taught students individually and in small groups to ice skate.
Birthday Party Instructor June 2009- August 2010
Assisted and led birthday parties hosted at the Little Gym.

Traveled with People to People international over a period of 23 days to 4 countries with the aim of
becoming more culturally aware and making an impact on an international scale. Earned 110 classroom
hours at the High School level and gained world traveling experience.
